Construido en el borde oeste de un estanque de cinco hectáreas. Ideal para la pesca, natación, o simplemente recostarse y relajarse. Situado a menos de una milla de la Hutchinson Zoo, Hutchinson pista de tierra moto / ATV, Carey Park, y Carey Park Golf grueso. Dentro de dos millas de la Hutchinson Centro Shopping, el centro comercial y centro comercial 8 Teatros, Underground Salt Museum, Complejo Hutchinson Deportes, el Centro Espacial Cosmosphere, Kansas State Fair Grounds, y muchos buenos restaurantes. It is a nice house, fully equipped with everything you need. Was plenty big enough for everyone to stay. Does need better night time lighting.

My family had so much fun with paddle boating,fishing, swing ropes and the water slide. The house was very roomy and my wife loved the kitchen....it was fully equipped(could've had Thanksgiving there) I was very happy with our stay and to see so many smiles on my family's faces. Thank you Randy.

The property was ran down, BBQ area: grills were old and broken, look like they had not been used for at least a year. Picnic tables were broken down. No propane for the grill, had to use charcoal 😕. The lodge was dirty, cobwebs everywhere, one of the shower heads was busted and water sprayed out the side of it and the other was so plugged up that it hardly worked at all. Tile was about to fall off the wall in one of the bathrooms. Lots of clutter everywhere that didn't really have a purpose. Old out dated. Looks like when something is broken instead of hauling it off it remains on property and makes the place look like a dumping ground. The beach area and play ground area was no different. Rusty and broken toys, junk laying every where! And the poor horses looked like they were starving, so thin😭. And the hay they had looked old. This was a surprise 68th bday fishing trip for my husband and all the guys in our family. VERY disappointed!

Fun water play!

Also one of the swimmers made their way into our house and used the bathroom. Goats wandering the yard(the only form of yard matentience done by homeowner). Exterior of home not photographed on listed is severely dilapidated. Amenities listed are not at all accurate. For instance, there is no game room, pool table, hot tub is broken with water ridden electric wires above it. One basketball hoop is completely broken. One paddle boat is broken. Zip line doesn’t function. I think intentions are good as far as the homeowner goes. He was very kind and tried to accommodate us, but I think they are in over their heads and can’t keep up with all the needed maintenance. Previous reviews are all accurate in both positive and negative aspects. Furniture is extremely outdated and worn out. Still a large hole in the bathroom floor. If you want privacy you have to not only rent the house but two apartments in back AND an RV parked in the driveway. Had I known that it wouldn’t be a private beach with all listed amenities I probably wouldn’t have booked here. Kids had a good time but we won’t be back. Would only recommend as a last resort if you can’t find anything else.

This was a great place for our family to stay. Randy was really accommodating considering they were still dealing with flooding in the area from a couple weeks before. Grandkids enjoyed the paddle boats & even the playground that was partly underwater.

Adventure Awaits
We enjoyed this "farm-like" setting just outside of Hutch as an alternative to the hustle of cramped hotel or motel. Felt safe. Kids enjoyed everything from the fishing to the donkeys, and horses to the goats, and especially "D-O-G" the do and rarely had the TV turned on or electronics in hand - now that's saying alot. Adults enjoyed the BBQ patio and firepit each evening. Beds were comfy and there was plenty of room for two families with 4 children to spread out. Warm hospitality. Hope to return.

We had an amazing weekend with family and friends. My kids loved everything. We will stay again. Randy was very nice and if we had any issues or questions he took care of it and answered all of our questions. It is an amazing place to stay.

Very nice owner but the property is in serious need of maintenance.
Furniture is old and stained and broken down. Very difficult time regulating temperature in house. Would not return to this property. Owner was very responsive to calls.

2nd summer here and it keeps getting better!
Great as always! First day it rained, so we stayed inside, watched movies and put a puzzle together. The kids loved the rope swing and caught two bass. The three year old had a good time playing in the play house with grandma. But the goats stole the show! Hilarious! We plan to cone back again next year for more memories...

Interesting, but fun
My family stayed here over a Memorial Day weekend. Honestly we were a little taken aback by the property.. Kind of a hap hazard petting zoo scenario with lots of equipment and random things everywhere. It did seem like recent flooding/rains had changed the landscape a bit. The house was nice, a little musty and dark. But nice and had everything we needed. The playground was great for our two toddlers and the baby goats following us around provided endless entertainment. The beds were comfy. The shower was odd but has great pressure. The owners were very kind, even brought over fishing poles for my husband to use. Overall it was a nice stay. If I'm ever in Kansas again I'd probably book it again.

Quaint and peaceful...
If you are looking for a quaint place to get away thats just far enough from civilization, this is the place. Sunrise over the pond, a nice evening dip in the hot tub, basketball/playground for kids...The place itself needed a little sprucing up, but as it was just the close of winter, I understand. Randy was a text away and very accommodating.
Beware of the nosey goats!
Hutchinson is minutes away and has many great businesses for food, shopping, and entertainment. Do visit the salt mine!

Amazing fun-filled / relaxing week
We had a great week at the property. Our families got together for a high school graduation ceremony. Most of us stayed in the spacious big house and then used an RV hook up for my folks camper. It was wonderful to have everyone together and not separated and going stir crazy at a hotel. TV's in every room, lots of comfy couches, 3 bathrooms! The rope swing and basketball court were the biggest hits! The kids went horseback riding and paddle boating and loved it! Well worth the money!

Randy and his partner were wonderful. Would highly recommend renting this property. Close to town and many things to do. Everything worked well in the house. Will definitely rent again.

Cub Scouts
We took our Cub Scout families out for an end of the year party. We had 7 families and rented the house, part of the duplex and their camper. We also had accommodations for two additional campers. The families enjoyed the pond, paddle boats, zip line and we even brought our own canoes. We finished the evening with a horse back rides. Families were excited, and had a ton of fun! They are already talking about coming back. Great quality accommodations! Randy and his wife were great hostesses.

Family vacation
We stayed here with another family for a group vacation. There were 4 adults and 6 kids and it was perfect. the kids were swimming and fishing all day. The paddle boats, rope swing and zip line were awesome. The slide is the real deal, the weekend provided great family memories for a lifetime and can't wait to come back next time.
