Federica was very helpful, informative and always on hand if we needed anything. Location was good for what we needed, 2 minute walk from the train/bus station and a 5 minute walk into Central sorrento. The rooms were modern and spacious.

The main downside, which isn't a criticism of the staff as they couldn't change this but the walls are very thin so you can hear everything in every room!

Great location and had such helpful service from Giovanni and Federica who were happy to give advice, arrange and answer our questions around dining recommendations, transport, tours etc. They were very accommodating which meant we had a lovely stay.

We stayed as two couples for one night (Saturday). We chose the place based on the recommendations about the place, the proximity to the center and the generous breakfast, and we were not wrong. The room is clean and very well maintained and the hospitality is from the heart. We received recommendations from the hosts for an excellent dinner and a trip to the city center which is a short walk away. In the center we were surprised by the young and lively atmosphere until late. It was simply great, highly recommended even in winter!

We (my husband, adult daughter and myself) stayed at Effe Home Sorrento for 5 nights at the end of September. What a wonderful find, right in the middle of everything but yet so calm and peaceful. I cannot put enough stress on the words – what a fantastic, friendly, informative family who run this splendid B&B. Federica’s parents, Nunzia and Giovanni, were exceptional and welcomed us with a very pleasant Granita made from lemons from their own lemon tree. We had 2 spacious double rooms which were kept spotless daily and there was even a sofa in our room which was very nice as it meant our daughter could join us for a chat. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were well equipped. The rooms had balconies overlooking a garden. There was also a clothes hanger on the balcony which was very useful. Breakfast was delivered to our rooms at the time selected by us, even very early on our last morning. Giovanni arranged for our rooms to be adjacent and rearranged the balcony furniture so as to ensure our daughter could join us for breakfast on our balcony. They also gave us good advice about restaurants and various tours we could take. They were completely professional, impartial and not at all pushy. If, and I hope we do, we ever visit Sorrento again we will definitely be staying at Effe Home.

The room was very clean everything was new and fresh. It had everything you needed and would expect to find in a hotel room including a safe and mini fridge which was very handy. Federica and her father were so welcoming and extremely helpful! They helped us with booking our tour of Capri Island and offered suggestions for local restaurants offering delicious authentic Italian food. We had a fantastic time! Thank you - we hope to be back in the future.

This place was so special and chic: lovely view and super kind host. Federica and her father were amazing host - real Italians. They recommended us very nice local shops, restaurants and foods. The breakfast served was tasty and their wine was very good. The room was perfectly clean and even the bathroom had a window with amazing view. Highly recommend this place.

The property was clean, bed was really comfortable with a lovely balcony and in a fantastic location. The hosts were fantastic; helping me with recommendations and serving a wonderful breakfast.

The greeting,. giovanni and federici made us so welcome, home made granita from giovannis own lemon tree! Numerous tips on where to go what to eat, local knowledge was second to known. The room was perfect, cleaned daily with a lovely little balcony where we could eat our breakfast. To top of the perfect stay we were given a superb glass of wine to send us on our way. Location is perfect for the center and marina grande so I just can't recommend this place enough.

Location is amazing, only 5 min walk from the train station and just a scroll down to the city center! Federica’s father was amazing, he was very helpful and gave me so many tips about Sorrento and Positano. Breakfast was amazing too! I will definitely come back !

Beautiful room in a great location in Sorrento, the balcony overlooking the garden was a bonus. Hosts were really friendly and helpful and gave us lots of local recommendations. The breakfast in bed was a lovely touch, I wish more places offered this.

Really nice location - just few minutes walk from the center. We loved the cozy balcony. The room has everything you need during the stay. The host was really nice and always helpful - from giving us advice for affordable and tasty restaurants to aiding us in making reservations for various trips around Italy. The breakfast was amazing - do try the home-made 🥐 and cappuccino, they are AMAZING. It was really clean as they were making the room for us every day. When we come back to Sorrento (and we will come back :D) we will stay in the same apartment as it was marvellous!!!

Effe home B&B is spotless, spacious and recently renovated and is located on a quiet street but very close to the centre and the port. It has a balcony overlooking a small garden and proved to be a pleasant location for breakfast, which was delivered to the room at our selected time. The balcony had a cloth hanger which proved to be very practical for us. Above everything else the owener's family, Giovanni, Nunzia and Federica have been the highlight of our stay. They are professional but more importantly very friendly. They went the extra mile to make our stay pleasant , gave us good advices and helped us in several issues we faced much beyond their professional duty as owners. My wife and I live in Sydney. We are experienced travellers and visited different places in Italy and other parts of the world before but if we ever visit Sorrento again we will definitely be staying at Effe home..

The hosts were so friendly, warm and helpful. The location is really close to everything. The size of the room was great and decor was lovely.

The host and his family were extremely friendly and eager to assist us with anything we needed. They made plenty of reservations for us with great discounts so that we wouldn't fall into tourist loopholes. Furthermore, the place was clean, the breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the location was central and yet, quiet. Last but not least, the view from the balcony was amazing! We strongly recommend this place!

That we couldn't stay for longer.

Perfect for a couple for a short stay. Owners were very nice and accommodating. We were given a lot of information about the area and things to do. Breakfast was brought to the door each morning and we ate on the balcony which was so nice. Comfortable bed and good shower. All you need. We also needed to leave our bags and come back for them later which was no problem. Highly recommend ☺️
