Everything was perfect. Melanie, the apartment, the beachfront - just everything. We will absolutely come back with our family. We stayed in beachfront apartment number 17 at the beginning of November 2023 with two children (7 and 10 years old). Before our booking Melanie answered all my questions, she also sent us all the essential information a few days before our arrival to ensure that we had a successful first day. We arrived in Ballito earlier than planned and it was possible to check in earlier without any problems. We were welcomed by her friendly staff member Ellen who showed us around the apartment. It is spacious and tastefully decorated. Everything was extremely clean and we even received a lovely welcome gift. There is really nothing missing. The only thing we had to buy was detergent for the washing machine, but this Information was included in the data we received in advance. There is a Nespresso machine and capsules for the first few days, and there were also dishwasher tabs. In general, there was more crockery and cooking utensils than in comparable apartments. Even candles and lighters etc. There were beach towels and an umbrella, the terrace was wonderful - we saw many, many wales. The area is secured and you can only enter/leave with a code. We never had any problems with water or electricity. When we had a quick medical question, Melanie was immediately on hand and gave us information on where to go (guests are given all the important addresses in advance anyway). The apartment is in a great location, very close to the tidal pool. The beach is very clean and there were very few people there. The pool in the complex is clean and there are seating areas. There is also a covered parking lot, our car was too big for it, so we were able to choose a free one in front of the house. In the open stairwell, we were greeted every day by a concert of weaverbirds building their nests within easy reach. Very impressive!

There was nothing we didn't like. The only only only thing one could mention: Our car was too big for the garage, so we parked at a save parking place in front of the house (there were many..)

Service from Mel and everything about the place and stay was extremely memorable

The host is super helpful, Mel provides you all the details to assist you with your stay. The accommodation has everything and more than any other accommodation that we have been too. This is definitely a 5 star accommodation.

Thank you to Mel for an awesome stay at her beautiful flat with all the bells and whistles. Easy access to the beach,nice pool,wonderfully clean and comfortable with all necessities available in the flat,like beach towels and spade and bucket sets for the children.

Location is excellent for any beach / ocean lovers. The apartment is well maintained and clean offering everything one would need for self catering. Host is great… loved the touch of gift from the host.

I would gladly stay here again. The apartment is as shown and is spacious and clean. It has a good view of a lovely beach. It has easy access to the beach. The host is always attentive and answered any questions by WhatsApp. The bed was comfortable and air conditioner works.

The staff of the building were very noisy but were quiet when I spoke to them. The sliding door to the patio can easily lock you out, so never shut it completely behind you.
