Excellent place to go for the weekend. Everything was perfect and the kids had a blast.

Our recent experience at this beautiful lake house was excellent in every way and more than we expected. We are a group of 10 long time friends who have taken a yearly “getaway” for over a dozen years and have been in a wide variety of places throughout Texas. Your lake house is now our all time favorite! Your communication regarding all of the details is thorough and very helpful. Your house is warm, inviting, and clean providing comfort for all. The two screened in porches, with plenty of comfortable seating, provided a pleasant place to sit and visit while taking in the stunning view of your back yard overlooking the lake. The living and kitchen areas more than accommodated our group. You have everything stocked for anyone's needs, including a game closet filled with a wide variety of choices. While we didn’t use the lake opportunities, we could see you have all the items necessary for fun on the water for all ages. It is located on a very quiet street and parking is ample for multiple vehicles. All of us would use this house again and recommend it without hesitation. We had a great time in the lake house. It was clean, and VERY well stocked. Beautiful location in a quiet neighborhood. The two house setup worked well for our group with teens/young adults and their parents. Jenny was quick to respond and easy to deal with. We will definitely look for this home again if we're in the area.

We spent three nights at this house with 10 adults and 4 children under the age of 11. We had plenty of space and room to escape the crowd noise if we needed a break! We cooked an early Thanksgiving feast, so the two kitchens were very much needed for ovens and fridge space. I hope we can return!

What a great weekend spent with family at the best lakehouse! Every year my entire family takes a long weekend trip together and this house was perfect for us! There was plenty of room to spread out (there were 14 of us) and the lakehouse had everything we could ever need. The kitchen was well stocked, several towels in each bathroom to last us the entire trip and a closet stocked with games. There are two kitchen areas, two living room areas, two dining tables and two laundry rooms. These definitely came in handy with all of us! I was impressed with how clean the house is kept inbetween guests and the owners are incredibly nice. They are super helpful and are easy to communicate with. They also went out of their way to ensure we were returned a couple of items that we accidentally left behind. We will definitely be staying here again! I am thankful for the great find on VRBO!!

The living/dining rooms were so spacious, and we had room to spread out. Great screened in porches for relaxation. Great kitchen....so many appliances and stuff to help us in our meal prep! Bathrooms were really nice. Everything was especially clean, and the house almost looked newly painted. We couldn't find anything to complain about....and with 13 women, that is nearly impossible;))))

Comfortably slept a lot of adults. First class view and every thing you need provided. Hosts were great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Star Harbor for our prayer ministry team retreat. Plenty of room and bathrooms for our team. Lots of space to spread out and enjoy the outdoors, two kitchens (that are truly fully stocked) and just an absolutely peaceful place. We can’t wait to stay again!

This is our 3rd trip to Star Harbor and this property. It has been the perfect place for our women's group to meet for the weekend. Everything is charming and comfortable. The houses are well kept and incredibly clean. We can't wait to come back in the fall.

Our combined family has used this lake house twice for our family weekend together. This lake house is PERFECT for our large family. The kids really enjoyed playing on the lake and fishing. The house is well kept, clean, and a great layout for a large group. The home owners are very responsive and helpful. Many memories were made and we look forward to coming back again.

Home is spacious and very comfortable for a large group. Games, corn hole, and paddle boards were great. Home was well appointed and the 3 refrigerators reduced trips to the store. We hope to return again.

Great house! Wonderful amenities and kitchen accessories. Our grandkids loved the lake level (low for adults, but perfect for kiddos!) Fished and tubed with our boat which was easily anchored near their dock. We had to contact the owner to access the paddle boards, and she responded immediately. Observations: both ceiling fans in the bunk bedrooms are in need of attention (probably an easy fix - just noisy - maybe loose?) The larger bunk room door got stuck 1 time with older kids needing help to get out...lol. VERY nice, comfortable beds and furnishings but LR rug & upholstered furniture and especially the windows on the larger side of the house could use thorough cleaning to better enjoy that perfect view of the lake. I'm sure it's tough to keep clean with large groups so we made sure there was no food or drink except in the kitchens or outside. The check out procedure was easy to follow and made it simple to tidy up before we left. The family before us left lots of garbage for the trash service, so I think our amount of trash was within reason for 16 people. Would definitely recommend larger/extra outside trash cans to accommodate the needs of the house and avoid asking guests to take trash with them.

We looked at lots of properties before deciding on this wonderful home. And it did not disappoint! The owners/managers were a delight to work with. Our stay was in the middle of the snow and ice storm in February and they did everything they could to accommodate us. The house was comfortable, charming, clean and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. The decor and "feel" of the house was so inviting, we felt at home the moment we walked in the door. I could not give this property a high enough rating to represent our experience. It's worth every penny! The property is great. The location is great. The hosts are great. We had a family gathering with 18 people (16 overnight folks) ranging from 8 to 71 years of age and had a wonderful time. I think the firepit was the most popular area to just hang out and talk. The kitchen was well-stocked.

We came into town for our annual Canton shopping trip and this property was absolutely perfect! The split floor plan worked perfect for our group. The views are incredible as well! We loved it so much, we already booked it for our trip next year!

We were a group of 10 adults, so it was not easy to find a place that had enough bedrooms and bathrooms. The fact that this property is actually two homes attached to each other provided us with more than adequate space. The open floor plan was perfect for us with a long table that we could all sit around. Plenty of pots and pans, plenty of towels, just plenty of everything. We loved the inside and since we were staying inside, that was perfect. I will say that the outside of the house(s) deserves better attention. The grill in the backyard would have needed to be cleaned well before use. I hesitate to even mention that because we enjoyed the inside so much. Most in our group thought it was one of the nicest places we have ever used, so unless the outside appearance is important, don't let that put you off. The owners were very easy to work with, very accommodating when we had to change dates, and readily accessible when we needed something.
