We could not have hope for a better experience. The photos are accurate but don't fully capture the charm of this cozy home. You will find everything you need for a relaxing stay. The kitchen is fully stocked as was the linen closet. Kayaks are conveniently kept down by the water and other water toys are stored in the garage. There was plenty of space for my family of six with room to spare.
If you're looking for a peaceful getaway I would recommend staying here. The location can't be beat. You're right on the water which we took full advantage of. We will definitely be coming back!

Love this place. First one we’ve ever booked twice. Swimming is fantastic - super warm and clean. Fishing was great this year - lots of sun fish, 8 catfish, and one 19” large mouth bass! Thanks for the stay!

Beautiful setting
House was everything needed for a relaxing stay on the lake. Felt like home.

As our group included unvacinated children we wanted a place for relaxing and playing without interacting with others. The Sunspot suited us well-a short walk to the dock, kayak, canoe, lifejackets, and multiple flotation devices supplied. And in case of a rainy day a good array of books, games, and videos were there as well. The selection of kitchen basics was extraordinary. It is a great place for a family with children who love to swim, dive, and fish.

Quiet home on the lake. The owners were very quick to confirm the reservation. They checked in with us to see if everything was good. Their packet for the house was well detailed with traveling information, checking in, information about their home, and checking out.

My husband and I stayed here for almost 10 days. The property is absolutely serene. We loved swiming in Lake Anna and hanging out out on the boat deck. We would love to stay here again sometime. The host was very friendly, nice and easy to communicate with!

Ravi and Laura were great hosts, very responsive. The house is lovely - a real homey home with all the amenities around that are there. The lake and dock and all the water toys are really fantastic. We had issues with the internet cutting in and out - but the hosts tried to handle it best they could with the internet company directly on our behalf. A great location and real retreat.

This is was our third time in this house and we loved it even more than ever before. Everything was great: comfortable beds, pool table, swimming, kayaking, fishing, biking and the evening bonfires! Thank you! We will definitely come back again next year.

Great Family Vacation
We had a great family vacation stay. The kids loved swimming and fishing off the dock. The owner was super easy to deal with and the house had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

This property was perfect for our vacation. It is not fancy but it is welcoming, super clean, and very kid friendly with toys, games, a toddler bed (great surprise for our 2 year old grandson). The owners provided access to the garage which had a treasure trove of entertainment from bikes, to canoes/kayaks, art easel, floats for the lake. We brought our own fishing rods but if you didn’t there are fishing rods of all sizes. We grilled and had a camp fire 2 nights. Our days were spent on the dock swimming and fishing. We brought our boat and loved just jumping on to take a ride but if you want to trailer your craft daily the marina is super close and very user friendly. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks Ravi and Laura for sharing your lake oasis with us :-)

Book this spot, especially (but not only) if you have kids!
The photos simply don't do this place justice. It's awesome. And unlike some of the McMansions in the area it felt secluded and homey, but also really really well appointed. From the comfy beds to the totally stocked kitchen (appliances, spices, baking and cooking implements) to the comfy beds, to the canoe and kayak, and stocked game room w/sweet bar and glassware it was awesome. And the toys, oh my goodness the toys. Our 3 year old was in heaven. We would definitely stay there again.

Good
My wife and I had a nice time. The property was well kept and all of the facilities (appliances, AC, plumbing, washer/dryer, grill, stove, etc...) were in working order. We played pool one evening and I fished from the dock on a couple of occasions (caught a few catfish, bluegill and perch).
We would rent this house again.

1st try at Lake vs. Ocean and had a grand time
We had a week of rain, watched weather bug non-stop for opportunities to get outside but honestly had one very fun time. Fire pit was enjoyed a couple of times, Duke's Marina is walking distance and renting a pontoon for 3 days was key and fun - docked at the house. Power plant is a great rainy day trip and nearby winery. Being able to swim & float off the dock was great and this house is fully stocked, clean and charming.

Lovely place. Clean and comfortable. New dock and deck is large and great to watch the sun come up and great sunset.
Would rent again.

Long Lake Weekend
Went to the lake for a long weekend and the house provided exactly what we needed. We spent the majority of our time outside in the yard or on the dock enjoying everything the lake had to offer.

Fantastic Lake House
My family stayed at the property for the Columbus Day weekend. We absolutely loved the place! It is very spacious (more so than I gathered from the pictures) and we made use of the facilities offered. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is large and well-equipped, there is a grill which we used too, the lake is just past a few trees in the backyard (my 83 yo grandma could get down to the lake in a few minutes). We also enjoyed spending time around the bonfire in the backyard, playing pool and attempting to kayak. We swam a lot even though it was a cooler weekend (the lake temp was around 73 degrees), you can dive right off the dock which got warm in the sun when the sun finally came out for us. I would definitely recommend this property to anybody looking for a low key family getaway. (I think the only thing I wished for was a hottub!)

Property was very private and well equipped.
This place is very quiet, you can barely see the neighbors through the forest. My family and I really enjoyed the large dock and canoe. It is an excellent location for swimming and plenty of life vests. My family appreciated the abundance of cookware and utensils in the kitchen. There is literally everything you need for cooking. We stayed a week and cooked all meals at the house. The owner provides plenty of instructions for operating the house and all the light switches are labeled. The owner also responded promptly to all emails before and during our stay. This place can provide your perfect family week at the lake complete with swimming, boating, large meals, campfires, and movie nights with the flat screen tv.
Property was very clean, and is in good condition. It's obvious the owner cares for the place, is more than just an income property.

Beautiful Property
Had a wonderful long weekend at Sunbreak. The property was ideal - secluded, beautiful views, private dock, fire pit. The house was also equipped with everything to make vacationing easy. The house is also very close to a few marinas and the Lake Anna Winery making it easy to see more of Lake Anna. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Wonderful family getaway
We went there over the WE with our 9-months baby boy and a couple of friends and their 16-months daughter. We made the most of all the amenities offered at our disposal: top-quality grill, pool, dock, canoe, wi-fi. The kitchen is more than fully equipped and the bedding, at least the king size bed in the master bedroom, is even more comfortable than our own! It is true that the decor is not our usual interior style but it fits so well with the place and the surroundings that it felt actually very genuine and cosy. The whole house is fully childproof, which contributed evidently a lot to our well-being and relaxing. And it is so nice to be able to get a swim from the dock in the morning in such a beautiful light.
We brought back home a lot of good memories and many pretty pictures!

Delightful Lake Get-Away!
After going many years of going to the adirondacks, we decided to give Lake Anna a try and we are so glad we did! This charming place sits on top of a hill with the marina in walking distance. We parked our jetskis on the spacious dock and we all were in the pleasantly warm water in minutes! (in all the years of going to NY, only my husband has been in the water one time). We caught abundant fish, both bass and catfish both on the dock and on boats! The beds were very comfortable and I loved the decor. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a big meal for all of us, very nice to find! And we loved trying out a game of pool after dinner - it was something new for all of us! The smart tv allowed us to log into our netflix account to enjoy a movie the one evening and we visited the winery nearby for tasting - they have quite a few things going on depending on when you are there so you might want to check it out! We also had a fire the one night, bring your marshmallow and sticks. And if you dont mind some mild hiking, go on over to the park like we did! All in all it was a great week at a great place and we definately see ourselves coming back here!

Great lakeside property!
We rented this property for our first trip to lake Anna. The property was a nice wooded lot with a great big dock that is conveniently located walking distance to a marina that has a minimal fee for launching boats or jet skis. The water was beautiful every day and crystal clear. We caught fish every day. The beds were very comfortable and the owners have tons of dishes and cookware. Any other places I have rented make you hunt for a dish or pan to use. The grill is top of the line and we enjoyed playing pool or watching the smart TV when we werent on the water! Just a few small things like a few extra chairs outside would make this place even better. But these are so minimal!

Beautiful getaway!
Amazing, quiet, wooded, lakeside location and beautiful dock for swimming and boating. (+ there is a Marina a couple hundred yards away where you can rent boats!) Inside of the house has been recently renovated, e.g. new rugs, painted, etc. and the house has all the amenities you need (including very fast wifi!) The beds were very comfortable. The house was also very friendly / safe for our one year old daughter who is just learning to walk. The game room is amazing with beautiful pool table an excellent flat screen TV -- after the baby was in bed we chilled out there and some shows on Amazon prime.

Relaxing and comfortable retreat
I had a chance to check this place out for one night before possibly doing a weekend rental with friends later in the summer. The house is comfortable, showers work well and everything is clean. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, etc. Decor is a bit old school eclectic - not necessarily my style for everyday but fine for a lake cottage. Couch in the rec room and flat screen TV seem new.
Best part about this rental is the lakefront - the dock is pretty big and in great shape. It's a very nice place to spend time relaxing and reading - they have adirondack chairs. You can also take a dip from the dock - water was clean. There was a nice breeze and the views are wide open - no other houses that you can really see. The deck off the house is great for evenings and eating outside - I was worried about mosquitoes because it isn't screened, but not one bite! (wish that were the case in DC!)
