It was away from the main highway so very quiet. It was roomy and had everything we could need. Very large for 2 people so space was super.

it was a cute, cozy little cabin in a nice and peaceful area.

there was nothing to light the wood stove with. no precut wood. I wasn’t expecting a full spice rack but there wasn’t even any salt and hardly any pepper.

Easy check in and check out.

Couch was nasty. All stained up. I expected better for the price.

I liked that it was so small and quaint, had a wood stove and was close to a lot of hiking trails. Had all the appliances and amenities one would need for a cabin retreat.

I while it appeared clean, the smell in there was something nauseatingly sour and strong. It wasn’t a pet smell, but more like an unkept human smell. It was obvious that the cleaning staff had recognized it, as most all the windows were open when I arrived despite the space heater being on. I immediately lit a couple candles I had brought, which helped a bit but I ended up leaving one night early because even the constant burning candles couldn’t take away the smell. I hope this was just a fluke and that I just caught it on an unfortunately bad time. I don’t usually leave reviews unless they’re good but this needed to be passed on in hopes the management team for the home can remedy this for future visitors.
