I loved everything. The moment I walked into the lobby I was surrounded by the energy of peace and love. The cabin was peaceful and breathtakingly gorgeous. I felt right at home. I highly recommend this stay!

Cabin "Route 66" is well decorated and it was very pleasant to have all we needed to cook. Host was very friendly and helped us to plan our roadtrip around. A quiet place to relax.
The bathroom is too small and could be better cleaned but it was ok for us.

I liked that I didn’t have the problems of my neighbors and their backed up toilet.
Santa’s shack needs a complete remodel to the 21st century. If you can’t use the fireplace anymore take it out. Remove oversized water heater and space heater/s. Patio foundation has settled and needs to be leveled. 40 year old carpet needs to go along with all the out dated decorations. Keep the Santa theme if you want but at least upgrade to stuff that doesn’t have 40 years of dust build up on them. Professional upgrades not half assed diy remodel upgrades either. This is why your place is falling apart around you. You have run everything into the ground 3 times already.

The cabin was nice
Is sitting almost right on the highway - the traffic noise is stressing. The name cabin implies peace and tranquility. Not at all. I could not wait to leave that place to find peace and quiet.

The location was great for the trip we planned. The cabins have great charm and the grounds were very clean. The gal that checked us in was very nice.
The downfall of this location was the toilet! The toilet either came from a preschool or RV. Very low to the ground! Very hard for us older generation.

Each cabin has a theme and ours was the Fisherman. The decorations were well done and very much kept to the theme. The cabin was very clean. The hosts are very nice and willing to help with what you need. It was just two of us, so our cabin was more than roomy enough. The water heater is a little different, but if you follow the directions, there is no issue. It was a quiet,, nice place to spend a few days. We will definitely keep Chinook on our list of places to stay again!
Getting off the highway into the entrance can be a bit tricky. It just takes some attention.
