We chose to book this place because the English headline description in the iOS app said there was a restaurant, bar and pool. In particular the restaurant was important to us as the location is isolated. After checking in I asked when was the restaurant open for dinner thinking maybe it was round the back somewhere or in the house. We were using google translate. When it turned out the only facility on site was a soft-drinks vending machine and the pool was empty we decided we would have to see if we could find somewhere in town. Instead of apologising for the misunderstanding the manageress became angry and defensive. She said she was not responsible for the English description - that was a Booking.com responsibility. Later on she messaged us via the app to say in Italian we were rude and disrespectful people. Unfortunately so far Booking.com has been unhelpful too. Their service rep said I should have looked closely at a section of the website that’s not on the app which contradicts the headline description. When I asked if the statement that there was a restaurant might reasonably give me grounds to expect one he said he didn’t know.

We were cycling and the only downside was the extremely steep 2.9 km climb to the b & b Taxi from the railway station is 15 euros. Apart from that I loved the place
