No hand soap in bathrooms. Not enough trash bags or dishwasher pods. No hair dryer. No instructions regarding trash. One bathroom flooded because of broken shower stem two flights above. It was a miserable night.

The Caribe is lovely but mid to late July it was jam-packed. Fortunately there are lots of swim areas so the pools were not too crowded and there’s a shuttle to take you across to the beach. The condo did not have extras of anything - blankets or pillows for example - nor did it have the little items we used to expect from prior guests, like salt and pepper or other grocery items. I guess Covid changed all that. There was an extra garbage bag but we had to get more. Just be prepared to go into it like a hotel, bringing every item you need. We were able to purchase an extra 2 parking passes but spent about 20 min driving around to find a place on Sat. night after dinner. It was a great place but I think we will plan a different time of year next time.

Our experience was excellent. We enjoyed the space in our room. The pools and beach was what our family needed. Can’t wait to return next year. This will be our go to resort!!

Beautiful View but it needs some update on the carpet, all mattress and the bed in the kids room needs to be replaced it squeezed every time my kids moved. The small ice machine doesn’t work. The couch needs to be replaced it’s really old the arm on one side has no cushion in it. The bed needs to be replaced in the first bedroom too. If the owners could update all of this we would come back and stay in the condo because the view is amazing.

This condo could be so much more comfortable! 1. There were no chairs or benches in any of the bedrooms, no place to sit and relax or put on your shoes. The master had an extremely tall bed, so a chair was very necessary there! 2. The ice machine didn't work. We did not use the wine cooler. 3. Not enough chairs on the balcony for our party. We did have a large one (6 adults, 2 children), but we couldn't use the balcony because there were so few chairs. 4. The white swivel chairs shown in the living room were everyone's favorite, but the arms, inside the arms and the section one's legs rest against were quite dirty. 5. Dining chair bottoms were sunken. Very uncomfortable. 6. Our two little ones were eager to get to the beach, but the beach shuttle was barely operating. We finally gave up on it. 7. Floors could have been cleaner. It's evident that the mop water needs to be changed more often. I was elated to find that, although I had to dig for them, a step-stool was available for that tall master bed! I'm 4'9" and tall beds are a huge problem for me! Thank you! I've asked for them in hotels and just got a funny look. Condo amenities were fabulous.

TV’s in the bedrooms were not working & it wasn’t until the 3rd day that they came to fix it. We also had to burn candles the whole time due to a musty odor. We provided a list to property management upon check out & was hoping for some kind of compensation for our inconveniences during our stay to no avail. I would not recommend this unit.

Reviewer Comments: The room was fantastic, most of the resort was nice, but the deck by the pool/lazy river needs major updates, it's crazy that you have to go down to an extra elevator which looked like a small service elevator into a dirty service room. I just don't know why they wouldn't have a nicer looking way to get up to the pool deck. Also, the back walkway needs to be fixed ASAP. I know there was a hurricane, but it's needed. Also, a walk over to the beach would be very, very helpful! Walking around and under the road is just too far for a fun little trip to the beach/bathroom.

Apparently our unit is assigned 1 parking garage spot, then additional vehicles purchase passes & park out in the lot. it took all day to find our units spot...the garage is an extremely confusing layout with no signage at all.The building itself could use a renovation on the inside, super dated...and it feels really damp everywhere.This was our 1st time doing the high rise condo thing in OB, We’re usually 30A people. The condo thing is just not our jam, to each his own. But if you’re like us, just know this may not be for you. :)The management I text with was very nice, even though they never solved our washer issues.

It has so much space, it could definitely handle another sofa. The view looks out over the pool and road but it has the view of the ocean. Some of the amenities were closed but since it was January we were fine with that, I would suggest inquiring before you book. We had a few small issues but they sent a guy right out, and he was professional and nice. The rug in the picture is not in the condo, and there were not many glasses or cups to support a place that sleeps 12, but the rental company did drop some off on Saturday for us.Overall... I will definitely rent this unit again in the future and all appliances were working and the ice machine working is always a plus. It is close to the indoor pool when you come down the elevator, which if open is a plus in the winter months.

As a result we had to throw out our food. The rental company was very quick to respond to messages, and they brought us a loaner fridge to finish out our stay. The view is great! Reviewer Comments: I’ve stayed at the Caribe for nearly fifteen years and continue to return because of the spacious lay out of the units and the amenities that the resort has to offer. That being said, some of the units are beginning to show their age. This unit was beautifully decorated and very spacious. The wrap around balcony offered views of the gulf, the front pools and lazy river, the back pools and slides, and the bay. I love it when I can get that view! The kitchen could use some updates. A replacement microwave had been brought in was left sitting on the counter taking up valuable counter space. The oven needs replacing, and there were very few pots, pans, and cooking utensils. We also had trouble with two of the three toilets not flushing, which has been an issue that we’ve experienced in other units at the Caribe. All of these things seem minor, but when staying at a resort of the Caribe’s caliber and paying a premium price, these are details that one would expect to be taken care of. Hopefully management or the owners will resolve these issues. Despite the minor issues, I would book this unit again strictly for the views and the amount of space.

I called 5 days before our stay to see if the unit was available for us to add a day; I was then informed that the unit would not be ready for us and that you had nothing else available. No call, no email, nothing I am still curious when(if) you would have informed us if I hadn’t called you. That was Oct 6th... we still haven’t received our refund. The property appeared clean but a dirty folded qtip was found at bed side table. Considering the room was empty the night before I know the cleaning crew had no reason to rush therefore it is questionable if sanitizing standards are being followed as advertised. The ice machine was not functional and had what looked like mold and it had an odor. I called the management office and the qtip was removed but the ice machine untouched so I do not believe any additional cleaning was actually done. There was a missing coffee pot and I requested one on two occasions but we did not get a pot our entire stay. And the lady negative is the parking policy doesn’t make sense. When the facility is not full there is no reason that adequate parking passes can be provided for large units such as this one. 4 bedrooms will most likely have multiple adults driving multiple vehicles. Supposedly 1 parking pass is included with the rental fee but i was charged $30 for both passes. The management company didn’t address other issues during my stay so by the time I realized the charges I had no confidence that would be handled properly when I no longer in the unit. Now for the positives - there was adequate cookware and plenty of dishes and utensils. One could easily entertain a dozen people. The beds were quite comfortable and plenty of extra linens and pillows. All appliances are high quality so cooking was a breeze. The balcony had a great view. The master jacuzzi tub was comfortable and relaxing.
