El tamaño de la habitación y la piscina está muy bien. Además, el personal del hotel ha sido agradable y nos han ayudado para reservar un coche de alquiler.

Nos cobraron 20€ de depósito por dos toallas para la piscina. En un hotel de 4* es un poco extraño... El desayuno no estaba al nivel tampoco de un hotel de 4*.

We had a wonderful stay. The location, proximity to bus stop, restaurant, shop, etc., was perfect. Swimming in the salt water pool and in the sea was a real treat. The room, while outdated, was spitless, and we had a magnificent view.

As with previous comments in this section, not having a kettle in the room was disappointing. The absence of a variety of fresh fruit at the breakfast and not having fresh juice has been aired in previous entries, but these comments and suggestions are being ignored. There is little point in asking for feedback if the comments are not going to be taken on board. In the overall scheme of things, these matters didn't take away too much from what was a great experience. However, if management could see its way to addressing these issues, then the experience would simply be Wow!

Great view from the junior suite, looking at the ocean and pool, including a very nice large balcony. The hotel is at a good location, next to the pier so a quick stroll down the promenade to the center of Funchal. The breakfast was good, with an omelette station and a big ham to cut. Many cheeses and fresh fruits as well. The room was clean!

The restaurant had weird hours, on Friday night a DJ was playing super loudly until 11pm (this is right below the suite so super loud), and yet on Sundays they don't do dinner service at all and instead have a half menu of burgers and sandwiches. The pool could have been a bit warmer but made it work. The coffee wasn't the best at breakfast. The furniture and overall hotel seemed a bit dated and overall in need of upgrade. Not to be more modern, just less worn. There is a second entrance and reception to the junior suite which can be confusing, think they should have explained that in the booking so we can order a cab to the right location.
