it was located in a excellent position directly on the beach, yet walking distance to the heart of Roses. the hotel was spacious, inviting, yet had a homely feel. the rooms were good sizes with all the facilities required. and then the breakfast was plentiful and well laid out.

there was nothing I did not like about the property.

very dated and in need of refurb. Had to pay for sun loungers which was really annoying and meant no one used them. No beach towels and 17 Euros a day for parking. I believe sun loungers and parking had been free in previous years and maybe they are trying to refill the coffers after Covid but really not worth it as it pulls down the rating. Bar closed at 10! Food very average. So if it had had a refurb and not so stingy on the sun loungers I would have given a 9

Great location, lovely view of the coastline from the restaurant and a nice terrace area out front. The property is only a few steps from the beach so it was very convenient too.

We paid extra to have a double bed rather than two singles and they provided us with two single beds pushed together. the mattresses were also extremely hard and uncomfortable to the point where we were waking throughout the night and in pain the following morning. The breakfast buffet was good but the dinner buffet is not worth it, the food was very dried out and had obviously been there a very long time.

Paid parking and pool only opens at 11am.

the 3 Person room was a 2 person standard room with 3 beds. way too small. breakfast was poor and they tried to charge me more for the bar while checking out.

The location, cleanness and beds are really really good for the price of the rooms.

Breakfast and food they serve in the buffet restaurant are from a very low quality, really bad. Please go anywhere else for breakfast.

hotel is very well located, staff is very helpful, breakfasts was also very diversified and tasty. facility has its own parking for the extra cost

beds had a lamps over the head that was very uncomfortable, you can hit your head on it every time you raise it, also pillows are not comfortable.

Post injury, I needed a hotel close to my physio and chose this hotel. If I could give this hotel 10 star, I would! For the amazing staff that went above and beyond to help and support me every single day. From the front desk to the cleaning team, and in particular the restaurant staff who I am forever grateful for their kindness, professionalism and always helping me before asking for it. I warmly recommend this hotel, not only for the great location but for the best people I’ve encountered!

Starting with secure parking in hotel grounds, the location could not be better. Right on the beach but just a short stroll to shops and bars. Ideal for those less able, lots of ramps, and even a chairlift into the swimming pool.

The bed was a bit hard.

It was a lovely hotel - the location is perfect, right on the beach. The food was also very nice at breakfast and from the tapas menu at the bar. I was especially impressed with the room - I was given a free upgrade from the partial sea view that I booked to a full sea view with a lovely big balcony. The view was just stunning, it looked right out over the bay and the room itself was very big and spacious. It was also really comfortable - had everything I needed including a kettle and fridge. Staff were friendly and really happy to help, especially at the reception.

The only thing to mention is the bar area on the ground floor has live music on some evenings - the front facing rooms did get some noise. It didn't bother me at all so this isn't a complaint - I actually enjoyed it from my room when I was there. But it might bother some guests if they like an early night.

Restaurant and reception hall very nice as well as the terrace. Pool nice and in a secluded position. Staff very friendly and helpful. We'll positioned between beach, grass area and town.

Bedroom not big enough for 3 beds. Bathroom too small, needs renovation. Parking fee way too expensive. We booked and were promised a large double bedroom. We ended up with a small bedroom with 3 beds, the double bed was so small that my wife had to sleep in the third bed. Serious lack of wall plugs for cell phones, tablets etc.

A really nice hotel and great staff for the most part

The hotel was in an excellent location right by the beach. The cleaning staff were very efficient and polite.

The room was a twin made up as a double as a result one of the lamps above the bed fell off the wall during the night and hit my wife on the head, when reported to reception this was greeted with an oh dear we will get maintenance up to deal with it, no record was made , my wife was not asked if she needed to see a doctor. This was reported to head office and on the final day of our stay we were offered a choice of removal of the lamps , changing them to smaller ones or a new room, no point in any of the options as it was our last day. We had a sea view room but at times it was very noisy , there is a walkway between the hotel and the beach with a grassed area, lots of bikes and electric scooters use the walkway , there is a fair bit of noise as these go over a little bridge, also the hotel has live music most night on the grassed area. Be aware you have to pay for 10 euros a day for loungers even if you are a hotel resident. Despite the information on the hotel saying the receptionist spoke English and that the room contained a mini bar, the receptionist did not speak English and we had to converse in French as with the rest of the hotel staff, there was no mini bar in the room just a fridge which contained 2 small cartons of water and these were not replaced during the 6 nights we were there. All meals were buffet style and at times were lacking, we only booked for breakfast which was ok, but not enough fresh fruit and yogurt choice. We ate one evening meal and found the meat to be very dry, probably due to being kept under heat lamps. The waiting staff at times need to be reminded that politeness doesn’t cost anything. We didn’t use the pool so cannot comment on that. The bar service was ok but at times the staff could be a little slow.
