Staff was very friendly, the massage was good and well-priced. Food at the on-site restaurant is tasty. Room was very spacious and clean, with great air conditioning.

Compared to other resorts in Kovalam, the property is a bit older. The beach, while accessible, has a good bit of litter. The phones in the room weren't working as of my stay.

Friendly staff

There was no safety box in the room and no espresso either..the guest were extremely rude and demanding I witnessed an incident in the restaurant and the guest treated the sue chef really bad she scolded and shouted at him over a silly thing was rude..

The hotel premises are beautiful and there is no doubt Kerala is always worth a visit. However, the rooms were not very clean and the bathroom was full of animals. I have attached photos of a frog and snugs, but there were many in our bathroom. Hotel staff told us they were fully booked and that they could not move us to another room. After we told them we would leave the hotel, all of a sudden, they had another room available in the same category. Even though staff promised us they would clean the rooms and we would not find further animals, it was the same picture in the second room, too. There was another frog and several snugs. The hotel offered us another room in a superior category (which all of a sudden was available, too) but by the time we had decided to leave the hotel without staying a single night. We are still waiting to receive our refund, which the hotel is reluctant to provide. We would definitely not recommend this hotel because of the cleanliness and poor hospitality by the staff and management (we had several phone calls with the on-site management and the headquarters). We contacted Booking.com to support us with the issue, but unfortunately Booking's customer service is reluctant to help us with the refund and demands we resolve the issue with the hotel directly, which is what we tried to do before contacting Booking.

Perfect view. Perfect food! Perfect stay! I know, that I'll be back to that hotel, because I'm very impressed!

situated in a forest above the sea

earlier there were marvwlous ancient traditional houses carefullyrebuilt and reTaured now many more houses more modern with elements of before but loosing in charm . the sea is too dangerous to swim and an industrial harbour is being built nearby
