I liked everything the hotel had to offer. Right from the staff at reception welcoming us, to the food, chamber maids, pool cleaners, bar tenders, everyone was incredibly lovely.
We felt very welcomed, loved and can't wait to return.
The receptionists were extremely wonderful, polite and helped us navigate our way around the Island, suggesting places we could visit.
The hotel's location is great right on the beach and near lot's of restaurants, bars, a club.
The hotel us kept clean always.
We had a massive room with incredible views with a balcony overlooking the ocean. P
Thank you all for your hospitality and care.
I loved everything here. I can not fault anything.

The property was clean and in a great location. Smooth and quick check in and out.
The wait for breakfast was always greater than 35 minutes even if they weren’t busy. The morning restaurant staff was not at all pleasant.

Location is fabulous, beach is just across a narrow road, all rooms have the same great view of the beach and the sea, there are only 21 rooms all facing the sea.the staff at this hotel are fantastic so so friendly and helpful,we celebrated our wedding anniversary and renewed our vows at the church 150metres away, the staff made such a fuss with balloons and bubbly.would go back tomorrow if we could.
The only drawback is there is no lift so it's a climb up 3 or 4 flights of stairs but apart from that we loved it

great location in the gap. directly across from a small sandy beach. super close to many bars and restaurants.
just be aware that being close to bars may mean some late night music and noise until 3am. but we did not hear it at all from inside our room.

The hotel is ideally located in St Lawrence Gap where there are lots of great restaurants and bars. The location is on the seafront and our room had a superb direct ocean view and the beach was only a few yards away.
Other hotels have better facilities e.g. Bigger pool, Gym, Spa facilities etc and whilst the Yellow Bird does not have any of these due to it's boutique size it's location to the beach/sea compensates for some of these facilities.

Wonderfull view from the terace, sea, there we were swimming every day, 30 m from the doors. Room was nice, very clean and personal very nice too. It was simple, but comfortable and we liked it. Only one thing, if you are sensitive to the noise, don't take 2 bedroom apartament, because there is the bar not near and the terrible noise from it ends only at 2 o'clock at night. In the main building of the hotel, there is almost no noise. But when we complained about noise, they tried to do the best they could, gave us ear plugs that really saved us.

Fabulous location, every room had a balcony with a fantastic view of the beautiful beach. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. We loved that the room had a kitchenette so we had the best of both worlds when it came to mealtimes. A great location in the heart of The Gap, with loads of bars and restaurants a short walk away. Pool was lovely too.
Because of the location there was quite a lot of noise from nearby bars and clubs on a Friday and Saturday night.

location, location, location. Excellent stay in February. A lovely and comfortable hotel situated at the entrance to St Lawrence Gap. However, it’s the staff that makes this hotel the perfect place to stay. Nothing is too much trouble and they all go about their daily business with smiles on their faces.

central location, great view
kitchenette too small, not well enough equipped. Restaurant was OK at best…could be unbeatable if effort was applied, location, location

Staff are nothing short of amazing - super friendly and always willing to help make arrangements and give advice. The property is extremely close to many restaurants and bars, the bus stops just outside for access to the broader island.

gorgeous spacious room, sea view
noisy at night, but that’s part of the location

Absolutely fantastic hotel, amazing location in St Lawrence Gap with stunning view onto the bay. Spacious room, really clean with a little kitchen which was great with a little baby. Sunsets on the balcony were an additional bonus. Lovely pool, great restaurant. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
Lack of the lift - we knew that before and took the risk. It was difficult dragging suitcases to the top floor but would still recommend this hotel.

It’s all about the location with this hotel. Although please note the beach in front that you see on the photos is a bay and not a beach you can lay on but you can go into the sea. The hotel is positioned at the very end of the gap which was ideal for us and more picturesque with the view of the ocean - couldn’t ever tire of the view from our balcony! The cleaning team were excellent, very well cleaned and always smelt lovely afterwards.
The sofa bed that was used by our 18yrs old was extremely uncomfortable, springs could be felt and heard every time he moved and not fit for purpose, bearing in mind you are paying for 3 adults this is very sub standard and needs replacing. Again we requested an extra outdoor terrace chair being 3 of us but this never transpired, not good enough. We asked for coffee sachets that come complimentary in the room - never got them, just more sachets of milk and sugar! Simple things that make your stay more pleasant and less to frustrate you. The restaurant was the biggest let down! If only it was better they could of had our custom daily. The view is perfect but the staff were quite frankly terrible. Slow is a compliment. Sit down for breakfast/lunch/dinner expect to wait 20 minutes before a drink is even offered! All you need on a morning is a coffee or tea and later on a cold beer!!! The staff were miserable, maybe this was upset with management and working conditions?? Not sure but we certainly did not feel welcomed and we are friendly and polite unlike some tourists. Waited ages for food and the menu quickly becomes boring. The eggs are excellent though! Almost all of the food out here is imported, therefore if a delivery hasn’t arrived you can forget simple things like tomatoes, salad etc which is pretty disappointing.

They accommodated a much needed early check-in. Gave us a nice complimentary bottle of wine for my husband’s birthday. The room was cozy, clean, and the property is well fumigated, because we kept our balcony open a lot, and there were hardly any bugs.
Monique and others at the front desk were so friendly and helpful. Our very reasonably priced room had a BEAUTIFUL view of the ocean right across the street. The balcony atmosphere was a very romantic and soothing way to look over the ocean. Breakfast was tasty, and Room service was pretty fast.
I had to ask a few times over a couple days for extra towels. Even though the flying fish was pretty good- the mashed potatoes tasted like they were from a box, which was disappointing for the high price. My first dinner also came with a very wilted and small side salad, so when I got a fresh and bountiful salad the next day from them- I felt a little cheated by that first meal. These were all relatively small disappointments after an overall great stay.
