Die Lage rund um die Unterkunft ist sehr schön. Zahlreiche Restaurants und Cafés sowie der Gare de Lyon sind zu Fuß problemlos erreichbar. Auch das Personal vor Ort ist sehr zuvorkommend und bemüht sich den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten.
Leider grenzte der Frühstückssaal direkt an den Eingangsbereich, sodass man teilweise nicht in Ruhe frühstücken konnte. Zudem hätte ich mir etwas mehr Auswahl und Engagement der Bedienungen gewünscht.

Staff were solicitous and friendly. Reception was prompt to assist with an issue to do with pending payment not of their making. Location was perfect for our needs, a few hundred metres from the Gare de Lyon.
The king room with city views was 16 m2 (we knew this when we booked). Not all that spacious given the tariff. But then this is Paris, and other equivalent nearby hotels were similar and more expensive.

Location and staff at the reception.
The towels were with stains, though washed. I booked the room with breakfast, but upon arrival, it turned out that it's available at additional fee. The room was smaller than what was advertised on the photos. No toothpaste/toothbrush or vanity kits. Small things, but for a 4-star hotel and the price, I think these things should be there.

Staff were very good with communication and friendliness
I was surprised by the room that although I could tell elements of the bathroom had just been upgraded there was quite poor painting workmanship and silicone detailing in bathroom, unsure if works had been completed or midway through them.
The sounds levels from neighbouring rooms was quite dramatic with us being able to hear every word of a lady next door while she was on a phone call. Unsure if soundproofing is going to be done with renovations?

The hotel made a mistake in my favor and charged me a reduced price of 659 euros (receipt tax).
I showed them the error of mistakenly undercharging, thinking the cost should be around €740 before taxes.
To my surprise, the hotel made a charge of 949 € without authorization (receipt invoice

the location was convenient for Gare de Lyon
we stayed 3 nights and the hotel charged our Visa for one night before our arrival without informing us. Then when we arrived at hotel, we were charged for 3 nights. I have emailed hotel to get a refund for the amount we were overcharged but got no response to date. also our room was not made up by 4 in afternoon. would not recommend this hotel.
