Mooie huizen op een zeer mooie plek dichtbij het bos.

Tijdens mijn verblijf waren de geluidsniveaus ondraaglijk. Van s'ochtends vroeg tot ’s avonds werd ik blootgesteld aan de harde geluiden van zware machines, boren en hameren. Dit maakte het voor mij en mijn dochter onmogelijk om te ontspannen vanwege de aanhoudende overlast die werd veroorzaakt door de bouwactiviteiten. Deze situatie heeft me veel stress bezorgd en me het plezier ontnomen van de vakantie die ik met mijn dochter in jullie vakantiepark Bospark Ede had gepland. Toen ik onze vakantie boekte was er op jullie website geen informatie verschaft omtrent de bouwwerkzaamheden in/aan het park. Tevens stond het door ons geboekte huis op nr. 176 direct naast de bouwwerkzaamheden. Ook hier zijn wij vooraf niet over geinformeerd. Ook heb ik Bospark Ede gebeld toen ik mijn vakantie boekte en niemand me informatie gaf dat er bouwwerkzaamheden in het park zijn. Als ik had vernomen dat het park in aanbouw was (vooral in de buurt van het huis waar mijn dochter en ik zouden gaan verblijven) in de tijd dat ik mijn vakantie boekte, had ik zeker geen vakantie op jullie park geboekt. Ik kreeg een ander huisje aangeboden dat net zo mooi was maar aan de andere kant van het vakantiepark lag. Het was erg fijn dat ik een ander huisje aangeboden kreeg maar als ik ervoor had gekozen om van hut te wisselen, zou dat betekenen dat ik opnieuw moest inpakken, de huisje moest schoonmaken en al mijn zware tassen door het park moest dragen. Ik begrijp dat verbeteringen en renovaties essentieel zijn om de kwaliteit van het vakantiepark te behouden en te verhogen, maar het is onaanvaardbaar om dergelijke storende activiteiten uit te voeren terwijl er nog gasten aanwezig zijn.

We liked the chalet. It was clean and had all the things that we needed. The rooms stayed cool during the day. The sheets were also already in the beds (unlike another holiday park we had just come from where we had to put all the bed sheets on). The pool had warm water and was nice. Would be nicer if there were more play areas or activities for kids.

Location is really nice. Park is fairly new and well maintained. Houses are small but comfortable. Bar serves good food, not a broad spectrum but ok!

The location was nice, in a forest with a lot of plants around. The chalet was ok with all you need at hand in the kitchen and living room, except for a washing machine. They also have a nice pool and a football pitch .The yard was pleasant, and there were ducks on the pond :).

There was dust in the cupboard, under the beds. There was a vacuum cleaner there, but no mop. If it is hot outside,you need to pay separately for the AC. They had a washing machine that you needed to pay for. The top bed in the bunk bed didn't have any protection from falling.

The entire property is beautiful and well maintained. They offer activities and a heated pool which really added to our stay. We stayed in number 705 and loved that we had our own little lake with a water feature and enjoyed eating outside on the furniture provided. Everything was clean and the kitchen lacked for nothing; which is saying a lot because we often find ourselves lugging around a lot of kitchen items because most places are usually missing one thing or another. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

There's no air conditioning, in the evenings it was great to open all the windows and cool down the space but the sun comes out around 5am and doesn't stop overwhelming you until about 7pm, without a/c I wouldn't go if the weather is hot. They called our particular space (#705) a "chalet"...very fancy description when it's simply a trailer/mobile home. They show pictures of the one and only tiny home on their property and give the illusion of something akin to a beautiful cabin but let's call a spade a spade, it's a trailer; nice trailer but not a chalet. The person we had at check-in was not rude necessarily, perhaps it's a dutch quality to make you feel like you're a total inconvenience but that's how it felt to interact with her throughout our stay. She was a short woman with long dark hair and an inability to be kind or helpful. This place is cute but be prepared to pay extra for absolutely everything. The bike rentals are a real treat but the price is ridiculous considering most hotels include that in their daily fee. This place charges you a per person cost, I went in thinking it was like a resort fee but nope it just covers linens; not towels though, that's extra. The laundry had instructions in English and i followed them as listed but on two separate occasions, it stole my money for the washer. It didn't occur for the dryer but each time i paid for the washer, i had to pay twice (4.50€ each time). The payment method is digital so to request the refund they required the entire month's statement from my credit card and bank account numbers to reimburse...the more I write, the more frustrated I am with these little inconveniences of our stay. They might sound petty and small but after driving around Europe at other places, I feel like this one lacked some details and left us with a sour taste.
