Great staff, Tinashe was so helpful. If you don't know what to do or where to go, he can advise. The location is quiet and not far from the North beach, Ocean and Gateway malls. There are restaurants around, a tiny mall. You can get the essential easily.
The cups in the room were not always cleaned everyday. The microwave also needs to be cleaned. We had some issues with the hot water, either not hot enough or too hot

Everything about the place was perfect, clean,friendly staff, close to the mall, facilities and the room were perfect

The quiet environment.
Bathrooms have no toiletries or even a bath mat. Room was too hot and the fan was not effective in cooling it down

They were in the middle of doing improvements so I'm sure it'll be better once done, the aircon took a long time to get repaired but was much better when it was fixed.
The kettle needed deep cleaning but more likely due for an upgrade.

Staff member who greeted us was friendly, it was across the road from my sisters house which is the only reason we stayed, and would have been difficult to find an alternative as it was Boxing Day.
Photos are deceiving, rooms need TLC, the Boma area being used as storage, rat in bathroom, rat poo on basin, towels smelt of miff/mould, grass not cut, did not look clean. My rating would be 2 not 8.

Lady at reception was kind
Place is a building site. Which means zero privacy with builder workers and rubble everywhere.
So didn't feel comfortable to swim.
The Boma area was a mess and full of clutter and not a place to relax so was confined to the room. Bathroom stank of sewerage, fridge didn't keep anything cold and TV made a loud humming noise.
Pictures on internet must have been in this places glory days and outdated...

The guy was very friendly and there was a supermarket next to the lodge, which was nice. also the room was big.
the room had a kitchen but didn’t had the usefull things like pans or gas to use the stove. also the furniture in the room was a bit outdated.
