breakfast cld be better

I was amazed by the location and proximity to park. The staff are all incredibly friendly and offered lots of advice. Very clean and warm room with comfortable beds. The on-site restaurant had excellent food and AMAZING service. Bonus friendly cats. Would be a great location for families. Couldn't be happier - will stay again.

Great location for visiting the National park. Very close to the entrance of the park. Beautiful hotel with big, clean rooms. Very comfortable and feels like home. Excellent breakfast. Great food in restaurant also, fresh food and fast service. Amazing staff. Loved everything here.

Location just outside the park…secret entrance. Access road quite narrow but offers some nice views of the lakes and waterfalls.

A bit hard to find.

Very small room. 26 qm with 2 double beds for one family. No place for clothes.

Location is perfect for those who want to go to the lakes. It is a nice and cozy village style hotel.

Noise insulation in rooms is not so good, we were able to hear our neighbors talking, taking shower, going to the toilet, snoring etc. Their restaurant needs improvement. There is not enough waiters so wait was very long and food also was not really good: I ordered pork and I got almost no meat, mostly bones and skin, and reheated potato so all other times was driving to the village nearby for food. Breakfast is ok but coffee is not a coffee but rather some brown water.

The location is great.

The worst thing is that they don't accept credit cards and that you can't have this very important information on the booking com. It is late to get this info at the reception and restaurant because you are miles away from the first ATM. The attitude of the receptionist was also very unprofessional. She said that they don't prefer credit cards. In our house, we had very noisy neighbors. You have no one to contact to react because you are away from the main object.

Position near lake’s national park. Open area for dining. Relaxed atmosphere. Very helpful staff.

the location to the park is fantastic, however, the taxi ride from the main park entrance is $30.

The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good - lots to eat. Good location near the Flora entrance to the park.

We had booked an Exclusive Garden room but arrived to find these weren't even open for the season yet. We were offered free breakfast and a bottle of wine to compensate but I feel we should have been told this before we arrived and had the choice of cancelling.

Staff were really friendly and helpful, food was delicious, building were clean and had character, easy access to the national park and they were environmentally friendly

Very surprised by this place. Close to entrance to the park. Amazing staff, helpful and professional. Rooms are new, clean and very comfortable. Food for breakfast and dinner was amazing. Homemade, fresh and big portions. We will be back for sure!

Location is excellent for entrance 3 at Plitvice Lakes. As other reviewers have said, you need to pre-book your tickets online as you can't purchase tickets at this entrance but you can just show your barcode and go in here. We loved that it was away from the two bigger entrances 1 and 2. These were much busier. Although we came in October and I would imagine the park gets much busier in the summer. October was great for the autumn colours and quieter boardwalks. The property is walking distance from the lakes, about a 5 minute walk, and brilliant viewpoints at the top of the cliffs. The 2 young guys on reception will give you a map and point you in the right direction. Very helpful. Our room was an excellent size, plenty of room exactly like the pictures. Very clean, lovely bathroom with some toiletries provided. The duvets were lovely and warm, it starts to get cold here at night in October, and there was a heater in the room working well on a thermostat. There was a small fridge provided which was very good to store cold drinks. Nice gardens around the property, would be lovely to sit out in summer. Nice outdoor seating area at the restaurant. Food at the restaurant is of excellent standard. One of the young guys who checked us out who speaks excellent English, lives near to another place we were visiting, which is probably slightly more off the beaten track. He gave us his business card and said we could ring him for advice or for any translation problems we might have at any time, which we thought was exceptional service and care of customers. Well done.

It was the little details that were slightly irritating; there was a kettle, but no cups or teaspoons in the room. No coffee or tea provided, but when I went to ask for cups, tea was offered. It would have been nice to have a fully stocked tea/coffee tray with maybe a biscuit or two and for the price, we think breakfast should have been included. We had previously been staying in large hotels with spas, tennis courts, very nice rooms and full breakfast with very good tea trays and toiletries provided. These hotels were not that much more expensive than this property. The internet was very intermittent and we had to set up our own hotspot using our phone and sometimes it was OK. This was a lovely place to stay near the lakes, perfect location. Just need to pay a little more attention to the small details. They don't cost much but make a much better impression.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and they have outdoor games to keep the kids busy while not exploring the lakes. Close to one of the park entrances, just make sure to buy tickets at entrance 1 first.
