We've stayed in or around Llangollen probably 15-20 times over the years and can say with confidence this cottage is in a great location, with a courtyard garden overlooking the river and amazing view up to Dinas Bran castle on the hill. It's a small cottage but perfect for a couple or family with kids. The second bedroom is a bit small to be comfortable for two adults, but fine for a short stay. Downstairs is a great space with good, comfortable living room and the kitchen has a breakfast bar to eat at. Lots of quirky decorative bits around the cottage, which do give it a certain character but the place might feel a bit bigger without them all! For the size of the bedrooms, the bathroom with modern walk-in shower was a pleasant surprise. Great to have a free parking permit as the cottage is on a road with no parking (although the nearby carpark is only £3.50 per day). Nice touch to have a cake left out for us for a welcome arrival. We really appreciated the ability to travel with our dog and the hosts were very accommodating about check in/out times too. Thanks for a great stay!

What a gorgeous cottage! Everything about it exceeded our expectations. The kitchen is great, really large with everything you could need. Despite looking small from outside, there's plenty of room downstairs and a gorgeous yard with the river flowing past at the bottom and beautiful views of the stone circle in the distance.
The cottage is right in the heart of Llangollen, a very quick walk to the 'centre' and close to some great restaurants. A parking permit was also provided and there is a car park a couple of mins away, which was convenient.
Host also left the nicest lemon cake we've ever had and a couple of other little extras which were much appreciated.
Overall we had an excellent stay and wouldn't hesitate in returning!
Nothing at all!

Location was amazing, view over river and castell dinas above so lovely.
Great garden to relax.
Quirky interior decorations.
Bed in front bedroom slightly uncomfortable but that is a personal thing.
Upstairs slightly small but again to be expected in a cottage.

Hosts sent us videos & texts prior to arrival regarding places to park, all within a short walking distance of the cottage & entry access code etc. Upon arrival we were met by our lovely sunflower host, who had thought of absolutely everything that you might need to make your stay special. The cottage was welcoming, spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable & quirky. The seating & views over the river in both directions made it seem very private. Within easy walking distance of all amenities, shops, restaurants & places of interest. We all agreed that everything was absolutely 'spot on' and we can't recommend this host and her property highly enough. Thank you so much for making our stay so comfortable.

location, outdoor space and river view. Well stocked kitchen.
Nothing. People need to be aware that this is a small cottage property with space at a premium - but this did not distract in anyway from our stay.

Host Debbie was most helpful before and during our stay.
Cottage was full of character, while being clean and with all mod. cons.
Garden had wonderful views over the river and was secure for our dog.
Location in the town was excellent with easy access to some great walks through hills and along the river and canal,
Welcoming cake and Prosecco definitely hit the spot on arrival.
Would be very happy to stay here again.

The property had a lot of character, along with a great outdoor space that overlooks the river and castle on the hill. Everything you need was there and if there was anything missing I'm sure the host would have gone out of her way to make sure you got it, she was more than accommodating. The location of this property was also fantastic, within easy walking distance to everything you need, literally a minute away. Would stay again 100%

This is a unique and characterful cottage, which Debbie has clearly poured her heart and soul into decorating.
It's in a great location, only moments away from the town centre.
There were lots of lovely welcoming touches including a table set for a tea party, with Bara Brith and Prosecco.
It was lovely to have a terraced outdoor space backing on to the River Dee, with a fabulous view of Castell Dinas Bran.
Debbie is an excellent host and communicated with us before our arrival and during our stay, and very kindly managed to get the cottage ready for us earlier than anticipated.
We found the bed in suite 1 very soft, and it dipped badly in the middle. In combination with the bedding being very hot for an August stay, we slept poorly.
It may have been just an unlucky coincidence rather than a regular problem, but we were kept awake one night for an hour at 3am by drunk teenagers hanging out on the steps to the Co-op car park, and were woken at 5am by neighbours on another day. (I guess this is just a risk you run by choosing to stay in a town-centre location, and apart from these occurences the location overall was quiet).
Bedrooms are small, and consequently there is very little storage space for clothing.
There was an excess of slogans and signage around the property for my taste.

The owner was amazing! She met us at the nearest station to the property, which was some miles away, and took much of our luggage for us. She was available on the phone day and night, better than my own family! Helpful and friendly at every point of our stay.
We managed to lock ourselves out of the property, but that was our own fault.
10.0
The view from the garden over the River Dee, the quirky decor and atmosphere, the conveniently located Co-op, a short walk from the town centre, the Wi-Fi and record player! We were welcomed with treats of Prosecco and a cake and the hosts very helpful, but not intrusive and only a text message away.
There was no parking immediately outside the house, but there were spaces in a car park a few minutes walk from the house, so not really a problem. Unloading could be done from across the way.

We found the lack of space and storage upstairs challenging. Shower floor was very slippery

Absolutely stunning unique cottage with the most gorgeous views! The furnishings and little touches are out of this world. I booked this as a surprise for my husbands 50th and Debbie went above and beyond, decorating the cottage with balloons and had Prosecco and glasses laid out for our arrival and even a birthday cake! It is ideally located with just a few 100m and you are surrounded by quaint shops , lovely pubs and fine eateries. Then of course there are the views....Llangollen is picture perfect in itself but when your own garden overlooks the River Dee WOW!
We will definitely return without a doubt!

The garden overlooked the river. The kitchen was large and modern. The owner is very helpful and left us tea coffee sugar cake and Prosecco. She messaged me early to say cottage was ready, as she knew we were travelling a long way.

It was such a quirky cottage with everything we needed!!
The lovely touch of cake and Prosecco waiting for us when we arrived was amazing!!
The hosts sent us videos of the best place to unload and where to park the car (which is free so added bonus).
There is a co op close by for the essentials.
The location in the town is brilliant so close to everything and that cottage backed onto the River Dee was just perfect
Would highly recommend The CornMill and the Three Eagles for food but booking is essential.
We will definitely be back as there is so much to do in and around the surrounding area Llangollen is such a beautiful place.
