I am impressed by the attitude of the staff (reception). Our plane landed in Palermo instead of Trapani. Despite the late hour of the night, the reception was helpful and quick to arrange alternative transport, car hire, cancellation of old bookings. This is how I imagine professional service. Thank you! The hotel has absolutely unique sea views, and a breathtaking panorama by the pool. Accessibility is only by car or taxi, but it is a few minutes to Trapani, Palermo and all the adjacent beautiful towns. Due to the late departure of the plane, they also adjusted our check-out.

The beautiful location and the outstanding staff. Everything we needed was right there to include wonderful meals, pool and spa services. In all honesty, the staff, Vito, Serena, Marina, Samuel and Hiada and Marisol made us feel pampered and special. They make La Blanca the best place to stay in Castellemare del Golfo. Very highly recommend it!

Everything. First of all the staff make the place even nicer. Serena at the reception and Vito at breakfast were superb. Serena was brilliant at recommending beaches and villages to visit or restaurants to go. She also booked for us a boat trip with Antonio, with whom we spent such an amazing day at the riserva dello zingaro. Vito, looked after the breakfast, he had everything so perfectly organised, so many choices from savoury food to home made cakes, cannoli and hot breakfast. The swimming pool was clean and spacious and finally the room were lovely, new and very clean and provided of a self contained kitchenette. We loved our week here and the kids would love to go back. Thank you so for the great vacation

The staff was extremely friendly and careful to all of the details. I would like to point out the reception, they were extremely useful, kind and on disposal. The breakfast is superb, its for every kind of taste and expectations. The swimming pool is big enought and well prepared for guests.

Stayed here for a well-deserved 3 day break. Amazing staff - very attentive without being overbearing. Looked after our every request and treated us to a room upgrade upon arrival. Serena was particularly kind and professional. It was very windy one of the nights we were there and there was a big of noise due to an aerial banging. It was no issue at all for Serena to move us to another room even though it was our last night. Plus she gave us loads of information on places to eat and where to stock up on food before our trip to Lo Zingaro. Yes you need a car and there aren't any restaurants nearby but we don't drink so that wasn't an issue for us. Plus if you ask reception they will suggest restaurants that deliver and will put in an order for you. Gorgeous views, calm and relaxed atmosphere. Fab pool. Rooms are a decent size especially considering they contain a kitchenette and the fact that there is a safe provided at no extra cost is a bonus. We didn't use the wellness centre so can't comment on that. Spotlessly clean. Heater/AC unit worked very well and is very quiet. Nice bathroom and plenty of hot water in the shower too. Comfy beds and pillows at least for my personal preference. Very good breakfast with an excellent selection of herbal teas which I appreciated plus the barrista makes a delicious latte machiato! Yes, I agree with some that there could be more variety and I'd advise putting out a dairy-free milk like soya, oat or almond as not everyone would think to ask. Overall a thoroughly wonderful stay and we'll definitely be back.

Not the hotel's fault but the construction work to mend a bridge below the hotel is a bit noisy especially when you're beside the pool but it will hopefully be finished soon. Also the rubbish lining the road on the way up to the hotel brings down the tone of the area however this is an ongoing problem all over Sicily which is slowly getting better. Seeing as there aren't many heated pools on offer in Sicily, I'd suggest considering heating the pool. It would give the hotel a competitive edge over other hotels and also encourage more guests especially at this time of year (April) when the sea is still chilly. These are all small details however compared to the standard of care received.
