Crocos closed up as prisoner. Who loves animals should not go there. Very sad. Place far away from center, last renovation may be 25 years ago, ratshit in the morning at breakfast tee in the sugar. Alright and cheap for a short stay. I know the people working there try to there best. But it is not engouh

Everything. The room smelled like humid, bed sheets weren’t clean. We had no hot water and we called them for help, but they didn’t even try to come and check. Good thing we only stayed 1 night.

There wasn’t anything to like. It was far away from the airport and the road to the listing is extremely bumpy which was a big problem as I had informed them that I have a spinal condition. And i was horrified to learn from the cab guy the next day that there were frequent murders in that locality.

They could have been honest about how far out the place was . The person I’d spoken to lied that I’d be able to find an open restaurant. There were lots of mosquitoes and the mosquito net was blood-stained. The person that received me literally started questioning me as to why the prices generated by Booking.com were different from what they charged at the facility. Book this place at your own risk

Peaceful

I booked a dorm bed and fortunately got the entire room to myself. Mosquito net was there but quite difficult to get full coverage around. Shower had hot water and was generally quite pleasant. Location was a bit hard to reach by boda because of the road quality, but if you can take a matatu, it's quite affordable. Some nice places to eat just on the main street about a 10-15 min walk from the hostel. Staff were quite helpful and let me store my bags there after I checked out and would answer my questions.

A TON of insects (mostly mosquitoes) around so you have to prepare yourself for that. I had the misfortune of arriving quite late at night during a huge storm so it wasn't the best, and there wasn't any sheltered path to reach the dorm and the grounds were all muddy. No wifi throughout the entire time I stayed there either unfortunately.

Friendly + quiet place.
