The service was great and always available when needed. The whole villa was very clean. Loved the view from the roof top.

The sitting area and beds could be a bit more comfortable. Just a bit too firm for my liking. Other that it’s a great place and near a variety of restaurants.

Rooftop terrace had great view of jungle and beach off in the distance. Close enough to walk to town but steep hill and cobblestones so wear proper shoes. Mauna Kea restaurant for brunch was a must do. Order the green juice and hot chocolate. Complimentary fruit salad and bread to start and such a great view. Limited hours. Bathroom was small but the shower was large and the water pressure was good (no toilet roll holder). Mirrors in bedroom allows 1 person to put on makeup while the other one is shaving (in our case). Kitchen was good too. Lots of restaurants in town - beach restaurants in the day time but the town restaurants for dinner (just have to put up with possibly sitting near/on the road and lots of mud puddles as they hose the street down to cut down on the dust. But a really charming and quaint little town with everything you need. Town is about a 20 minute drive to the petroglyphs which we loved.

The neighbours dogs would not stop barking so bring earplugs (also neighbour grinding metal and roosters crowing in the day). Just hang out at the beach! :) Room 3 is on first floor with a sidewalk and road close by so not much privacy unless you keep curtains closed. We weren't in our room much so not a big deal.

The wi-fi was great. The AC was also great. They had a decent channel line up on their cable. The host would drop us off at the beach using his golf cart.

The pool was cold. The beds were too soft.

The apartment was well equipped, with a huge bed. Chacala is a beautiful place to spend a few days.

Clean, comfortable, nice space within a few minutes to the beach. Kitchen was well stocked, and the bed very comfortable.

At times, the music was a bit too loud for my liking, but when I mentioned it at 10pm, the response was very nice and it was immediately switched off, although i only asked to turn it down. I appreciated that.

I made a mistake with the dates and booking.com as well as the hotel were quick to help me change the dates. The hosts were helpful and the room was comfortable.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is central and the room was quiet and clean. Kitchenette was nice and complete and Internet wifi worked well. Rooftop area has a great view and nice sitting area. Very good value for the price.

Jerry the host was very helpful. Great view from top deck. Suite was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Jerry arranged transportation to our next location. We would stay at Pura Hotel again. A very reasonable price.

The place was extremely dirty, there were ants all over the dishes. There was a an infestation of ants running up the wall in one of the bedrooms. We had a mix up about our booking and were given a completely different room when we arrived. We asked the staff and they moved us to the correct room after telling us it wasn't possible because all the rooms were dirty. When we returned from dinner half of our luggage was missing from our room. This was extremely alarming. We had a knock at the door from the staff informing us that our booking was not confirmed. I guess it booked for the next day on accident. This was not an issue as the hotel was empty. The issue was why was this problem not solved upon arrival along of the stream of other issues, rather than having our luggage removed from our room. I would not recommend this place.

The beds were really comfortable, the pillows this best we’ve had on our 8 night trip, the linens were clean, the A/C worked. Not bad appointments in the kitchen area, but no coffee filters (we had our own coffee). Lovely roof top deck with a pretty good view. Good water pressure in the shower.

It’s nit-picky, but the shower head needs cleaning, good pressure, the the spray goes all over the place.

Excellent location, short walk to beach and shops. Our unit was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Our host Jerry was very friendly and helpful with getting us acclimated. My husband and I would definitely stay there again. Thank you, Jerry!

I ask for a hotel. Not bungalow and they advertise as hotel. There is a difference

This was the 1st time coming to Chacala and we were definitely not disappointed. The villa was spacious, very clean, the views from our villa are amazing. Also the owners were very attentive to our every need. Definitely will be coming here to stay more often
