Booked late but was convenient and close to what we were doing, only there at night to sleep

Warm and clean had everything we needed

Parking was a bit tight especially with all the larger vehicles

You know accommodation is good when you come back for more, and that’s exactly what we did.

Comfortable bed, good shower, great location, quiet and warm. I would definitely stay here again.

Pleasant

Relatively quiet.

Room was a bit dark. Heat pump in the wrong place. No arm chair. No earl grey tea. I locked myself out loading my car at 8am and relied on a passer by to help me call the emergency number.

Great stay, would stay again.

Nice space and nice to have separate bedrooms. The shower was lovely and hot and the beds were very comfy.

We booked for 5 and the sofa bed was made up and comfy but there were only 4 of everything etc 4 chairs, 4 mugs, 4 small plates, would have been nice to have 5.

Exceptional

The owners really helped us out, with extending our stay for the same nightly rate, cleaned out room daily and were just really accommodating. Thanks we really appreciated it.

Would have loved a couch in the room but it was still very comfortable.

Would stay again. Far enough away from the city but still an easy walk.

Had a lift to access room on second floor. Modern clean room with all the comforts.

Our room was on the road so was a little noisy but nothing to worry about.

The location is perfect . Reception also has soft drinks, etc, available for sale. Great range of quality complimentary toiletries.

Lacks good housekeeping. Found dead insects stuck on blinds. Inside windows require urgent cleaning inside window frames with spider webs and dead insects present. Also found cut toenail/ fingernails behind side pedestal when checking for power source If the housekeeping is improved asap, then Bealy Plaza gets top ratings.

Excellent accommodation where the owner pays close attention to finer details - a cut above the rest

A modern well presented room with all the facilities that you require for a stay close to the centre of Christchurch, There were plenty of little extras that provided added value and made for one of the best short stays whilst touring in New Zealand.

Very good

Clean and tidy, good kitchen and bathroom facilities. Modern space and off street car parking is handy. Great affordable place to stay when in Christchurch.

The shower does not drain well, it pools while you are having a shower.

Impressive apartment

Apartment was furnished with good quality microwave & ceramic cooktop, along with good fittings in bathroom & througout. Walkable distance to dairy & some places to eat out. Also short walk to catch bus to city centre. In attractive tree lined street. Appt vacuumed daily & kept immaculately clean.

We were upgraded to 3rd floor apartment at street level, only downside was traffic noise during peak hours, plus a noise nearby during the wee hours sounding like a pump

Advertised 50+ sky channels, but hardly had any. not even on demand channels or apps like Netflix, that we could use with our own account.

great stay if we could put out shampoo etc in the shower…. and toothpaste and brush on shelf near sink…., there was nowh

no storage in bathroom, like a shelf or somewhere to put things on, there is a lip at the entrance to the bathroom that we tripped on several times

Close to city and Hagley park. Very comfortable unit.

Advertised 50 sky channels. Couldn't access a single movie channel. Staff just acted as if they didn't know. A little false advertising

Location was great. Paid for deluxe studio with balcony. Balcony looked on to a roof & was pretty dismal view.

New facility - well done.

Nice new facility with compact kitchen with pots, pans, dishes and cutlery for two. Staff graciously gave us room off the Main Street.

Wouldn't recommend, felt uncomfortable like we didn't belong..

Not much to like the staff member treated me like I didn't belong in this motel.. Felt uncomfortable... 🤦🏽‍♀️
