Friendly with great service and good food

Great position, very clean and great owners and staff.

Hotel Les Glières is an increasing rare beast in the Alps as it run by a local family who clearly apply a personal touch in what they do. The room we had was small but perfect for a week where most of the time is spent elsewhere. The bed was great, warm, and plenty of hot water, wonderful southerly view over the mountains and out to Courchevel. It is a short 100m walk to the gondola and a similar distance to the centre of the village. The food in the public restaurant is excellent. Both a la carte and a menu du jour are available. We had both and can recommend the simple 4 course mdj. If you wish to try the savoyard each night then the a la carte is the way to go.

Very nice owners that really want the best for their guests. The hotel has everything you need and has a great atmosphere. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with a lot of home made pastry. The bar area felt like a nice living room with a cosy fireplace and games we could play. The hotel has a cosy feeling without being old-fashioned and is very clean.

Very friendly staff, good food at honest prices. Cosy interior that takes you back to the good old days. Room was very clean and well equipped. Breakfast was very good as well.

Staff was extremely friendly , dinner and breakfast was very good , just 2 min. from ski lift. Very cozy village . 40% off for ski equipment . Beatrice and Jean Francois very nice people.

Great French 4 course evening meal and a good continental breakfast buffet. Brilliant location close to lift into main ski area. Quiet village near La Plagne. Friendly, helpful staff.

Only thing ... more pegs on the wall near heaters to dry ski wear out would have been useful.
