Owner waited us when we arrived and showed the apartment. Apartment had everything we needed - towels, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, TV/internet etc. Location was very good but very close to airport so if you can clearly hear and see the planes.

Very spacious apartment with everything that is necessary for a great stay. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean and from the living room, you have a nice view of the city, the mountains and the ocean. You can easily go to the city centre by foot and you can find a supermarket nearby and a few minutes drive you will find a large shopping mall which has basically all kind of shops. As the apartment is located in the main city of Sao Miguel it's a good location for all kind of trips. Situated in a residential area it was also no problem to find a parking lot and the area appeared very safe. Thanks a lot to Joao for the easy check-in and all the help.

It's not so far from the airport, which is on the one side great, as you will easily get to the apartment in a few minutes by car and to the airport on departure day. Aeroplanes can be a bit noisy if you sleep with your windows open in the morning, but as we had a tight schedule every day to make the most of our trip, we woke up early and it didn't bother us that much.

The location was very convenient: not far from big shopping centre and close enough to bus stops. Just in the next house is supermarket with all things of the first need.

Everything was fine except very high humidity in the apartment. But this is January on Azores, it's not a problem of the apartment, but the island. As in the apartment there's no central heating, you may have some difficulty with the drying of your clothes.
