The location was amazing
The bed was really uncomfortable and there was no where to sit and relax the two small roller blinds were broken so it was a bit dark and I expected a change of towels as we were there seven nights

So close to everything. Loved the period details mixed with the modern.

No breakfast as it was self catering! The cafe recommended downstairs was shut for refurbishment!
Brilliant Bike shop below! Lovely helpful staff.
Location in Oxford was the best thing there ! Everything inside the studio apartment was broken and not repaired from previous guests!
No WiFi for the first night as no answer to the help desk telephone number on the room phone they provided.
We just gave up and went out!
The label was missing from that phone, we were told when we got through the next day!!
The Carpets were never hoovered, inside the studio, and outside in the communal areas! A real shame as it looked so dirty!
The cleaner needs more paid time to complete his duties , could write my name in the dust on the window sills, and skirting boards!
We were only there two nights so we stayed out and enjoyed our holiday in Oxford! Do not want the hassle of complaining when we want a Break from things going wrong in life !
The cleaning overall and the broken items from previous guests fixed!
The Roman blind to see the view and have some air with the broken window catch!

When we arrived our room wasn’t serviced so we rang and were given a code to another room. The next evening the couple who had booked into this room arrived and keyed in, we were in that room. They attempted to contact the number provided but no response. I used my original key number for our first room which had since been cleaned and they stayed in there. This now meant we had the key code to their room and they had the key code to our room. I left messages for the managers ti contact me over this but no one bothered to return my call.

Loved the location. We came in on the train (10 minutes walk) left on the bus (3 minutes walk). Walking distance to more than we had time visit while we were there. Access to our room was easy.

The location was great and the room was very comfortable, although the duvet/bed linen was set up in a rather strange way! Everything else was good and Rupert was very attentive to any requests.
The central heating wasn't working when we got there but the was an electric radiator in the room and the heating got fixed during the first day of our stay.

Location was GREAT! Very central. Comfortable bed, stylish and interesting room, great shower.
It was difficult to make the room dark enough for sleeping.

9/10 Perfect little self-contained apartment. Lovely large bath towels. A stones throw from the Covered Market with a huge range of fresh international cuisine. Walking distance to everything. Ideal spot for the site seer!
Nothing. It's bijou, but they have made clever use of the space. Very clean, comfortable, modern and safe. Even has a little chiller cabinet.

Room was spacious, cosy and comfortable, with an amazing bathroom and shower and very comfortable bed. Location is perfect for exploring Oxford and a short easy walk to the bus and train stations. Fantastic value compared to other options in central Oxford.

This room was big and spacious. Located right in town so everything is super convenient with an awesome cafe right next door. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
It would've been nice to have some kind of contact for customer service. The hotel is above a bike shop and the people working there never said a word to me. Some might like that, it made me feel a little awkward though.

I arrived at the room in the evening to find room not being ready. After calling number provided, person told me that we are at the wrong room (in spite the exact room number was specified in the booking confirmation) and given us different entry code and advise us to go to room-2. When we open the door, the guest at that room were having dinner. The person on a phone didn't even apologise, just hang up. So, we had to carry all luggage with us to the dinner party we had booked. At some point at the dinner we received the call telling us that we will get ONE nigh free for all we were exposed. I STILL DIDN'T GET THAT NIGHT OFF.

beautiful little apartment a stones throw from the centre of Oxford. Tucked away down a quite side street but walk to the end and you are in the middle of Oxford. Contemporary design with a comfy bed and very generous sized bathroom.

Location was excellent - right in historic Oxford, near cafes & taverns. The room itself was quite nice & thoughtfully arranged.
Stairs & stairway. Rooms are all one flight up, easy enough, but when I opened my room door, there was another flight of very narrow & turning stairs that I had to maneuver my suitcase up, which was difficult for me.

The styling, cleanliness, location was superb, central but not impacted by the noisy nightlife, with ease of access to restaurants and within walking distance of all that you need for a short break.
The only thing that prevented this listing from rating exceptional was the lack of 2 easy chairs to relax in and read upon returning to the flat. Other than this little gripe, it was superb in all other respects, and we will certainly return.

There was no hand soap and the water boiler for tea was very gross.

Location, originality of the accommodation, and the trouble-free access via a door code that had us come and go painlessly.
As for the room, well it was really a small apartment in a fabulously-renovated house on a unique Oxford Street. Design excellent, so bedroom, sitting room and bathroom.
The location is unbeatable, a 2-minute walk from the pedestrian hub of Oxford, likewise to historic colleges.
Struggling to say what we didn't like. Maybe that we never found the iron for the ironing-board !

The location was brilliant!! The room had everything you need and it was so so quiet considering this is right I the city centre.

We like thé equippment of the room and also thé location, close to the center, the water and train oř bus station. Great!
narrow and steep stairs led to the room no 3 se had, nothing for small children and the elderly, but the room was cosy, nice and well equipped

Loved the incredible location and the lovely styling of this room. Excellent bathroom and shower with plenty of quick hot water. Great keypad entry system and nice historic notes about the building.
The dining furniture is incredibly uncomfortable and one of the stools (which have hydraulic mechanisms) is extremely noisy. The bed is quite comfy but hard to get out of as you sink towards the middle. The TV is in the bedroom and not in the lounge/dining area. Heated towel rail doesn’t work and not enough crockery for two people.

Great flat in a great location, close to city center but pretty quiet. Loved the shower! Sp nice to have some private space in Oxford.
Check in was delayed; when I contacted management they were apologetic but it took some time to get in the flat. They offered to refund part of the cost but I haven’t received anything. And the bed was low quality. My first reaction was that it was a fold-out couch because it was so lumpy and thin.

Loved the "Historical Markers" describing the bits of the room (ceiling/fireplace) discovered while remodeling!

Great location, very clean and well presented. Stayed on top floor..lots of information given by host beforehand and responded really quickly.
It appeared both outer doors and inner doors to rooms had the same access code. Felt rather unsafe but know this is a potential nightmare to change codes after every visit. That said, I would urge fitting an inside door lock or chain to add that extra feeling of security for guests whilst sleeping.

Room was well-designed and comfortable. Central Oxford location out us close to the University and great restaurants. The Manager was exceptionally helpful with individual requests - such as printing our travel test results and providing recommendations for private transportation to Heathrow for an early morning departure. Highly recommend!
