Best accomodation I have ever visited, all was very clean, luxury furnished and new! Spacious villa with big yard and swimming pool, very close to airport, Heraklion and beach! Very thankful to our host Chris for his kindness and all the compliments we received - fruits, food and drinks! It was a really wonderful surprise for us!

All was perfect!

Our stay at BlueGreen Villa was magical! Chris was the most charming of hosts. The villa has recently been modernized with new bathrooms, refurbished bedrooms, a new kitchen and a fantastic decked pool area. The villa is a 10 minute walk to Karteros beach, we loved the Paradise Club (spent the day there and had lunch) but most days we walked to the spot where the locals had their morning swims. On arrival we stocked up on basics for our 9 day stay at LIDL which is not far from the villa and then bought locally from the butcher, bakery and small shops which are 10 minutes walk away. We loved BBQing, chilling at the pool, shooting hoops, visiting the sites at Heraklion 10 mins away in the car (as is the airport). We ordered from the local tavernas recommended by Chris and had the most amazing meal at Peskesi which we highly recommend. Every single person we met during our stay was accommodating and lovely. Thank you Chris for your hospitality and for making our family trip so special!

An amazing property with everything we needed. It has been fully renovated with modern bathrooms, kitchen, new appliances and the latest technology! The house is beautiful inside and out with many beautiful heirlooms. Chris and his father are the most attentive and responsive proprietors we have ever encountered. They met us at the property, explained everything and even brought us a nice family lunch and left us a nice supply of food, snacks, drinks, etc. This was extremely thoughtful. There are pool toys, great outdoor lighting and two grills (gas and charcoal). There are two outdoor eating areas, a basketball court (with balls) and a beautiful lemon trees full of ripe lemons. in addition the property benefits from the many olive trees in the form of fresh olive oil available in the kitchen.

Nothing everything was fine

We stayed as a family ranging in ages between 17 months to 75 years and everyone loved this stunning villa! The facilities are fantastic, we had plenty of space so we weren’t on top of each other, the bedrooms were all comfortable and the pool was huge. Everyone in our party agreed that we would all stay in this villa again. The villa owner, Chris, was really helpful and met us to run us through how everything worked. He even stocked up the fridge was beers, milk and breakfast things. We had a lovely holiday.

We had an amazing stay at the villa with extended family. I was initially wary due to the lack of recent reviews, however there was no need to be. Chris and his father have been so helpful. They even stocked the fridge full of food and drinks. The villa is spacious, and spotlessly clean. It was Chris’ family’s old family home and you can tell by how homely it felt. The pool was clean and there are lots of inflatables that you can use. There are also lots of outdoor seating areas. We’re looking forward to returning for another stay.

The property is about 6km from the centre of Heraklion. However we enjoyed staying somewhere less touristy. There is also a regular bus that can get you into town in 10-15mims.
