We stayed at Kibanda on two separate occasions on our recent trip to Zanzibar. We found the experience exception in all respects. The staff, led by Hamed and Francesca, were extremely welcoming and always had great advice. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the A/C (we visited during hot season) worked very well. The pool was great and -- perhaps a little surprisingly -- we found the food first-rate and reasonably price. While we were there, the breakfast was also modified to add brewed coffee, an omelette bar and other upgrades which made the experience even better. The location is excellent and about a two minute walk to Nungwi beach and its excellent restaurants. All in all, we felt we received excellent value and service for our money. HIghly recommeneded.

Wifi would come and go so having GSM data access is recommended. But, then again, Wifi everywhere in Zanzibar is really a hit or miss proposition.

We liked our stay in Kibanda lodge very much. Everybody were very welcoming and they make our stay there to feel like we are at home. I'm sure all other guests can say the same cause they are checking their guests every day, taking care for each guest, talking with them, advising them, etc.. Their Hotel is very nice, clean, food is excellent and it's located few min walk from the beach..the pool of the hotel is also very and we used it very often especially before and after the beach and dinner or lunch 😊 we stayed there for 6 nights, and every day had our breakfast and dinner there..food is really great, big portions, so it you want to eat nice don't miss their menu😊

Positioning 3 minutes from Nungwi beach, clean and comfortable rooms.

WI-FI only worked from time to time, the food both at breakfast and at lunch or dinner leaves much to be desired. Also, the glasses in the restaurant were always dirty.

Lovely pool, and clean, comfortable rooms with air con. Lovely to have a good restaurant on site and good breakfast. A really short stroll to the beautiful beach.

the rooms were well air conditioned, the staff was warm and friendly.

All was going well until I encountered the owner, They made a mistake by over billing my card and when I went to clear it up at the reception i was met by the owner that made borderline racist remarks of how they will make me miss my flight, meanwhile this is after me going in good faith to sort out the issue way before my checkout time.

The rooms were big and spacious and the pool was amazing! The breakfasts were phenomenal and we were even treated to a birthday song and dance!

The management were rude and unfriendly except the younf lady at reception who helped us on our arrival. We were completely ignored when all other guests were greeted.

Pool looked beautiful it's a pitty we didn't try it, went on a free sunset cruise which was a great experience, ATM close to the property and they kindly offered orange juice to my baby all the time! We're so grateful. It's definitely a redo location

There's a beach not far from the property we didn't know of before choosing Busy and beautiful. Also we went swimming with the turtles

the bartender and the cocktails were amazing hotel managers and staff were so friendly make you feel home

Nice little hotel where you feel like you are in a tropical garden. Felt very safe in the hotel. Great that they supply beach towels. Super clean rooms. Good food in the restaurant, and portions are good, so we got just starter/main if we were less hungry and it was perfect. We got the package with breakfast and dinner and it was good value for money.

No mosquito net in our room, but still the AC worked perfectly so no mosquitoes in the room. Still, expected a net over the bed. The driver that took us to the airport was 30 min late. We still made our flight with plenty of time, but a little stressful. Manager tried to hurry it along so might have been a traffic or driver issue.

We have booked an excursion with them and they sold the Mnemba snorkeling trip + dolphins for 40$ but we didnt even stop for snorkeling a second time...so no chance to see dolphins of course.

It was great experience! The hotel was really nice, clean, with great decoration in the room, very polite and friendly stuff, fantastic saltwater pool... close to everything and the nicest beaches by feet. Everything we needed we had it,we will be back, I definitely recommend it!

The hotel and the room are nice. It is well located, near the beach. Francesca welcomed us well.

There was an awful smelling in the bathroom, unbearable. We standed It because we just stayed one night.

I liked everything in terms what what I have expected: room very much ( fridge and water available in the room everyday , cleaning daily ) . espresso coffee available :)

I wish the authorities pays more attention to clean daily the beach , because after tide you can see differ trash coming up with water

The hotel is great and clean Booked the room all inclusive with three meals a day The food was wonderful, the staff were excellent and the reception staff were very good.

- We asked the management to provide towels for the bathroom and they were not provided, although when booking it was mentioned with the facilities. - - We did not find tea and coffee facilities in the room as indicated during booking - - They offered us juice and water during meals and they told us it was included with the reservation and upon check out unfortunately they asked us to pay for it. - - They must update the photos of the Booking site, because most of the facilities are not currently provided.

The man on reception was very pleasant and helpful. We were greeted with a delicious juice while we waited for our rooms. The hotel was in a fantastic location and we could walk to many places. The bed was so comfortable and the room was clean, bright and spacious.
