if you’re not having a motorbike is in a position where there is no nice beach nor loads of pleases to eat or have a drink. but a nice night local market!

Sijainti ja henkilökunta olivat hyvää.
Huone ei ollut kovin siisti. Paljon hämähäkinseittejä yms. Näkymä huoneen ikkunasta harmaaseen betoniseinään. Wc-pönttö valutti vettä ja hanan vedenpaine oli olematon.

Small hotel, away from the noise. Nice garden and small pool. For how much you pay, it’s what you can expect. Everything is basic. Close to marts and the local life, but either have a scooter or be there only for one transition night.
Little stains on the bed and room outdated. Pool needs to be taken care of since most of the ceramic fall off and it’s easy to cut yourself. Outside lounge area around the pool is not so inviting (dirty chairs and moldy bean bags) but still managed to have a good time. Not that close to the fast boat (20min walk). The water refill station was broken so I couldn’t fill my bottle.

Ein nettes, süßes Homestay in der Nähe der Boots-Anlegestellen. Gute Lage, um von Nusa Penida aus zurück auf das Festland überzusetzen. Die Mädels an der Rezeption sind richtig süß, zuvorkommend, freundlich, höflich und haben immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Das Hotel half mir, ein Taxi zur Anlegestelle zu organisieren, inklusive Bootsticket, alles für einen sehr guten Preis. In der Nähe gibt es einige Mini-Supermärkte, Warungs und kleinere Märkte. Das Zimmer war gut klimatisiert, sauber und das Bett bequem. Toll war, dass es viele Ablageflächen für das Gepäck und Gegenstände gab. Sehr ruhige Lage - und sauberer, niedlicher Pool (obwohl ich nicht schwimmen war). Die Wasserflaschen konnte man sich an der Rezeption kostenlos auffüllen.
Der Strand ist zwar fußläufig zu erreichen, aber leider nichts fürs Sonnenbaden (oder Ruhe tanken), da es viele Händler in der Nähe gibt, die die Straßen recht belebt erscheinen lassen können. Die AC war etwas laut, aber es war noch im Rahmen.

Die Lage war sehr gut und da wir auch von hier aus Tauchen gehen wollten waren die Tauchschulen nicht so weit entfernt. Vom Haupthafen ist man auch nicht weit entfernt (ca.25 min fahren). In der Nähe sind viele kleine Imbisse und Supermärkte die man zu Fuß erreichen kann und der Strand ist auch nur 5 min zu Fuß entfernt. Das Zimmer ist ausreichend Sauber und das WLAN funktioniert auch relativ gut. Der Pool ist sehr schön da sich überall in der Nähe schöne Pflanzen befinden und die Gesamtatmosphäre sehr schön ist.
Preislich kann man sich definitiv nicht beklagen.
Die Matratzen sind sehr sehr Hart und dadurch das man sich in dirkter Nähe zu einen Tempel befinden kann es sein das man morgens von den Klingeln einer Glocke geweckt wird.
Das Frühstück ist ganz passabel wobei die Bananenpancakes mit Reibekäse serviert werden.

Équipe très accueillante et serviable, toujours le sourire, j’ai adoré le jardin vraiment calme est reposant. A 2 minutes à pied du night market où on mange très bien et pas du surgelé comme dans beaucoup de restaurant à Penida. Le petit déjeuner est bon et copieux.
Les chambres sont propres et bien équipées.

The owner and the whole family were just the best people we have ever met in Asia. So helpful, so friendly, it felt like family. We were so lucky and happy to spent our days there. Beautiful and quiet stay we will come back if we are on Nusa Penida. Thank you so much!!!!

We most liked the really kind staff and the owners of this homestay. It was like living in a big family. The ttopical garden with the pool is like an oasis in the middle of the city of Sampalan.
Every homestay where we stayed during this trip so far struggles with humidity attacking the inner and outer walls. Such is this one.

Fantastic people working here :) they arranged the breakfast for us because we had to leave for a morning activity. It was a bit difficult because of the language barrier but we made it happen. Also the pool was amazing and the whole place looks magical. There is a nice restaurant super nearby
I’m sorry but there were two HUGE coakroaches and a gecko in our bathroom. We didn’t mind the gecko, but finger size coakroaches, yes. Could easily be solved by a mosquito net. :)

Very friendly people, very attentive, lovely breakfast. We did karaoke and had so much fun! And me. Komang helped us with the boat when it wouldn't go.

Very kind and freindly family who own the guesthouse. They gave me a good bike for a good price. Breakfast is not included, but if you dont wanna go out, you can ask it there for a cheap price. The girls dont speak english well, but thier father does, so it wasnt a problem. Cleaning was made every day. Room is good, but a bit dark. Hot water and wi-fi are also ok
There is a temple right in front of the guest house. And twice a day you can hear how a bell ringing for 15 minutes. And its very loud. So or you need to go out till 6.30 am and come back not early them 6pm. Or have something to reduce the noise

We were warmly welcomed from the beginning. The staff is so nice and always helpful - they always try to help with excursions etc.
Also it was so clean, it was cleaned every day.

Clean, good wi-if (no trouble with Skype videos), spacious terrace, quite, about 30 minutes from the pier.
Hot shower.
There are no good beaches to swim in the vicinity, the ones that are close really dirty . The staff speaks quite poor English, which makes it hard to communicate the simplest yet essential things.
There are few good restaurants nearby, though there’s a nice warung spot 2 min away — tasty and safe.

Great place to stay. Very friendly and warm family. I enjoyed staying there a lot. The family were very gracious and allowed - indeed, encouraged - me to rest in the garden while I waited for a late ferry back to Bali. The place really is a green palace. Top marks.

Komang and his wife were very accommodating and super friendly. Their place is amazing and they have the most chilled and relaxing place to stay in Nusa Penida. Tranquil place with a pool to cool off. On top of that, my stay comes with fresh and delicious breakfast and very attentive/excellent customer service! 👌👏👏
