Lovely hotel, good location and helpful staff

Modern, central location. Staff friendly and helpful. Had a pool which was a much needed bonus in the heat.

Lifts very slow. Tv in the room didn’t really cater for English travelers. We did get charged twice, the prepaid amount and on arrival. I notified the reception and was told I would have one of the payments back within a month. I wasn’t happy, so went back where they refunded the prepaid amount back instantly.

Clean. Great staff with excellent service. They go out if their way to make you feel welcome. Really good location as well.

A little pricy but well worth it.

Fantastic location just around the corner from the cathedral. Superfriendly, helpful and serviceminded staff. Nice and clean room with large bathroom. Lovely small private terrasse space with direct access to rooftop bar and pool area. Would definately stay here again.

Restaurant wasn’t the best and pricy for what it was. I am celiac and dairy intolerant and was basically told I could have a plate of vegetables.

Location is great, right in the Gothic Quarter area and very close to Placa De Catalunya and La Ramblas. The best thing about the hotel itself was the beds! Supremely comfortable.

We were two families and had two rooms and this turned out to be a blessing. The Air Conditioning/ Circulation system in one of the rooms was completely broken during the stay and we could see the stark difference with the other room. Being summer, it was quite uncomfortable esp during night. The staff was unhelpful and a bit unprofessional, instead attempting to portray us as having wrong expectations with the cooling, except one gentleman who actually came to inspect the room and tried to help. As a saving grace, in the end, they did accept the problem, apologized, and tried to make up by offering a fan and other concessions. On a separate note, breakfast spread is quite limited wrt vegeterian/ vegan options.

The hotel was located in a central part of Barcelona where it was walking distance from restaurants, shopping and bars. The staff were very helpful and always willing to make our stay comfortable. The hotel is laid back and upscale at the same time.

Fantastic location and amazing staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially being able to end the day up at the pool for a glass of cava. We would stay here again, for certain.

GOOD LOCATION. VERY GOOD VARIETY AT BREAKFAST.

We booked the deluxe room with private terrace and private pool. I messaged the hotel before my visit to request help in arranging some balloons as a surprise for my husbands special birthday surprise. They were discreet and organised and even added some free items such as chocolate and champagne. We were treated very well and when we checked out on the last day, we returned as our flight was cancelled and the staff made it clear that we could sit inside the hotel for as long as we need to and we're welcome to leave our luggage safely at the hotel. Thank you to the staff who made our stay an incredible experience. Five star service!

It was perfect! The only pain was that one of the lifts were out of order, and we had to get two lifts up to our floor as the first lift only goes up to floor 1. Was not an inconvenience for us, but if we had walking difficulty it may have been an issue.
