hot tub only big enough for 2 people, not very warm in the hot tub, the en-suite bathroom wasn’t very clean with a bad smell

The location was excellent lots going on right outside the property restaurants,shops,boat & bus tours. The apartment was very comfortable with a great view.

We were very pleased with the apartment but there were a few things that would have been beneficial such as a mirror in each bedroom, a shower tidy for your shampoo & soap chopping boards in the kitchen & some place mats & coasters. There seemed to be quite a lot of rubbish that piled up on the pavement outside the apartment block.

Very good position. Close to the bus station and Ferry. Amazing sea view. Verry easy communication with the staff.

We weren't able to use the jacuzzi. Althought it was prepared, everytime we tried to heat it, the power went off and we had to reinitiate it from the panel at ground floor.

We’ve been facing problems with electricity from the day we’ve arrived. We’ve discussed via WhatsApp multiple times. The issue wasn’t fixed at all. The electricity is going off time to time and we have to go downstairs to reset the central panel. was unpleasant. Another problem that I’ve communicated is that the jacuzzi is not heating up the water so it’s impossible to use it. The jacuzzi feature of the apartment was the only reason for which we’ve chosen this property. the small bathroom needs improvements asap. dirty walls disappointed

The view was amazing our granddaughter and us loved looking out on the balcony watching boats and world go by would definitely book this room again the jacuzzi was fab my granddaughter loved it .

No one to communicate with. Only an emergency number out of hours if something went wrong. When we got there the electrics kept tripping the whole apartment in darkness our granddaughter who is 19 months was scared and crying it came on and off all week emergency man said it was because of the storm but that was the first day. Our kettle blew so we were three days without a kettle so again rang emergency number to report it three times when it did come it was left on the front door by an unmanned reception desk anybody could have pinched it. When we didn't have a kettle we had to keep boiling pans of water to make a brew it was a mess about. Then low and behold the gas went. We had been out and bought meat and vegetables for our evening meal which we couldn't have so all 5 of us and our granddaughter had to go out costing 84 euros the owner didn't offer a refund because you can't get hold of them. They were the only 3 negative things that happened but it slightly took shine off holiday especially having to go out and get 84 euros on a meal that we didn't need to get because we had already bought in. Cleaning products consist of cloth small bottle washing up liquid which was enough. A green scouring pad. I like my bleach but thought it would have that bought it in England but left it because it said cleaning products but not a problem. One tea towel which again not a problem we just washed it in a very good washer. Toilets both of them the buttons on the flusher kept sticking in shower room you take top off and touch cistern in ensuite you had to fill a bucket of water up and put it in the cistern to flush the toilet. Previous guest waste were still at the kitchen and floors were dirty. And there were no cleaning equipment that you could have cleaned yourself. Some of the adapters (for bedroom lamps) were broken.

The location was great, the apartment was spacious.

We were informed only a day before we were arriving that the apartment didn't have electricity, the property was accommodating with relocating us, however we were relocated to a smaller apartment; less rooms and less beds. The WiFi wasn't working in the bedrooms. And it did not have a sea view, our view was a construction site. We had to stay here for two nights. On the day we had to change apartments some cleaners came into the apartment around 10am without any prior notice while my friend was working. I messaged the host and he apologised and said he'd send them after we leave. Then later he sent me a message at 1pm saying they booked us a taxi (free of charge) for 2pm, but I repeatedly told them we couldn't move out until 5pm since one of us was working. And some of us were also out of town. I tried calling the host to sort it, but I kept getting reception and was told they would call me back. They never called me back. At 1pm another cleaner came in while my friend was in the middle of a meeting. She had to cancel her meetings for the rest of the day because she couldn't work in these conditions. The rest of us also had to cut our day short because the host did not want to change the time of the taxi. Eventually we were able to cancel the taxi. This would all have been much easier to sort out, would the host just have called us back. Instead he sent me a number to call which just sent me right back to reception who never called back. Once we moved to the Tigne seafront apartment, it was difficult to find it. We booked two Bolt taxis and both arrived at different destinations. We did eventually find it by typing in a nearby restaurant. Later that day the electricity stopped working. We were able to fix it ourselves with the troubleshooting folder they had at the apartment. However, when we came back from dinner it wasn't working again and we had to wait 3 hours before it was fixed. We missed out on half of the event we went to.

THEY WILL ASK YOU FOR THE DEPOSIT WHEN YOU ARRIVE. ON THE SERIOUS NOTE you have to pay it asap in order to get the keys. Then it will take ages that they will not want to return and start not to reply the messages. SCAMMERS

A deceptively spacious apartment in a great location for exploring Valletta and Malta in general. Fabulous view from the balcony/terrace areas across the harbour and towards Valletta. Very handy for the local ferry to Valletta (short trip and a few euros) and also for the more local shops, bars and restaurants. The hot tub (2 person) with a view is a lovely little bonus and can be a cool tub for those hot summer days! The apartment is well appointed and equipped with good air con for each room. There are a couple of areas around the edges and if you look very closely with a critical eye that could just be but right (i.e. loose bit of skirting here and there) but nothing that detracts. We had a fault with the kettle whilst staying and this was quickly and efficiently dealt with and a replacement provided. Always good to know that if something does go wrong that someone is on hand to assist. The property is a couple of floors up, there is a lift once in the building, but there are a few steps until you are in the lobby area. Once inside and doors shut then there is no noise or issue from the road below. All round a great place to stay.

The recycling system! Plus the way rubbish is collected (this is not the hosts fault it's the way it works in Malta) does mean the property can be a bit uninviting from the street, but don't let that put you off. It's just the way it is.

The property we booked was fine. However, we were moved to a property for 2 nights at the last minute which was not as good.., only 3 small bedrooms when we had specifically booked four. Victoria, who met us at Tigne was lovely and organised free transfers back to the airport when she heard our story.

The host offered us a free dinner to compensate when I requested compensation. However, the restaurant was 25 mins outside the city where he had placed us and we were not offered any rransport to it. When I requested a restaurant in the city, I was told no- that I had accepted the original offer then refused it so nothing else was being offered. Bad form in my opinion.

The location in Sliema is tops! Right on the water near to restaurants, shopping, the ferry, many cafes, etc. Sliema is super convenient for getting around Malta as it's centrally located. It is a very large apt with 4 BR and we truly enjoyed the jacuzzi on the terrace. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, though we mostly brought in or ate out since there were so many great places. There aren't that many choices when you want a 4 BR that is centrally located so we were very grateful to have found it, even though it has some quirks.

The beds are definitely not the newest and the one in the main bedroom (the double) was especially squeaky. After one night of trying not to roll over, we put our daughter in there since she is small (less weight = less squeaking!) and sleeps through anything. The other beds (90 cm, twin size) were marginally better but the mattresses have truly seen better days. We likely had bad luck, but other reviewers noted that they were also disturbed by the neighbors and the walls are definitely thin. We could hear every time someone moved a chair, music from the party one night was especially irritating after midnight, and lots of doors slamming and little consideration. Nothing that the hosts can do anything about but notable. The kitchen was not especially clean when we arrived and we pointed it out to property management when she came to take the deposit and do the check in. The bathroom in the master has a tub but the shower holder is about 50 cm off the ground and there's no curtain so it's just for sitting. The other shower had a broken hose. Property management took pictures but it wasn't repaired during our stay, also because I didn't want to waste a vacation day waiting for a plumber. It should have been pointed out and fixed before we arrived (How did the cleaner do the shower?!). We ended up taking the hose from the tub and using it in the shower but one shower is not much for 6 people. At one point a box on the wall started randomly beeping uncontrollably and we had to get in touch with property management to top off the electricity. We had barely used any (no AC since it was too cold and we were out all day. It was dealt with promptly, fortunately since it was loud and annoying, at 9 PM. We were not charged since we had not used much electricity and we had a laugh since the box is called the "Joy Meter" and we were certainly having a laugh over dinner. :-)

A clean, well maintained and spacious flat offering unobstructed waterfront views, outdoor dining, and a hot tub. The apartment boasts a peaceful setting while still being steps away from restaurants, shops, and a large steps grocery store. Transport into Valletta and other destinations is easy whether you want ferries, buses or taxis. Ana and Ralph were responsive, accommodating, and all around amazing hosts!

We loved everything!

Amazing location. Directly across the road from the sightseeing bus stop 1, tourist boats, ferry to Valletta, water for a swim, near shops and restaurants. Beautiful view over to Valletta. The apartment was very spacious for us, we were a group of 6 girls, we stayed in a 4 bedroom apartment. Loved sitting out on the balcony watching the world go by. Great to have a hot tub too. Our host was at the end of the phone line. She replied straight away to any questions we had.she also organised a taxi for us to and from the airport. Very helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. We were delighted with the apartment and area.

There were a few little things that to be honest gave us a laugh, sometimes it felt a little like faulty towers! The electricity went on more than one occasion, we called our host and she told us where the fuse box was downstairs, once we know how to fix it it wasn’t an issue. The rubbish is left from apartments in the lobby and outside the front door. It looks dreadful. I do think bins in the lobby behind a screen would be far better. There was a leak coming from an upstairs apartment balcony / hot tub dripping down onto our balcony, we reported the issue. When in the shower if you turned it off the shower hose would fall down on your head. Obviously water pressure. I definitely wouldn’t let that put me off staying in apartment. It has far more positives. The above were just little things that really didn’t bother us.

Nothing to do with pictures. It was not clean on arrival. And after 7 days with 8 people living and no cleaning it was hell... Two of the bedrooms are very small, bathroom is practically one, the other is en-suite. Showers are falling down, you have to be yoga to take a shower. The only bathroom for 6 people cannot lock! It is noisy in the night. Parties on the other floors. You have to pray for electricity everyday, because it is prepaid ! Beds are totally uncomfortable, noisy, broken and very cheap....No cleaning materials, not even a vacuum cleaner. Price is not good enough for that kind of place. Sorry...
