I liked the location, it seemed clean and comfortable at first. And that there was a small kitchen, the hostel is very large though and I stayed in the off season. I also really appreciated that I was comped for 2 nights as I took 2 cold showers due to some issue with the hot water. And I appreciated they brought in an electric heater when the heater in the room seemed to temporarily stop working. I didn't have a problem with the atmosphere at all like some guests, also the restaurant downstairs was nice and reasonably priced.

BED BUG INFESTATION in female dorm. A large bed bug crawled right on top of my blanket, around 12am I think, I killed it and put it outside but not before taking pictures that I showed to the receptionist- next day as no one answered the phone. He said "sometimes flies come In through the window" He seemed so unconcerned and the bug was so large (for a bed bug) that we wanted to believe it might be a carpet beetle or something. (they have a lot of carpeting) and we briefly checked the bedding and it looked clean. The other girl I kept in touch with broke out in a rash about 6 days after her stay, I started getting bites the day after I left and then was soon covered in bites. I warned the receptionist that if it was a bed bug that size it likely meant it was infested, and also that I'm very allergic to bed bugs. (just before I got the bites I broke out in hives all over my body and had to go on allergy pills) but was still very uncomfortable for a week. Also ruined the next week of my trip as I wasn't able to relax or even enjoy going to the thermal waters in Baile Felix due to worry about catching something from the waters, because of scratched bug bites and only went once. Also all the outlets very close to beds were broken or barely functional. I'm short with a short torso and accidentally banged my head on the bunk above me as they were unusually low despite the high ceilings in the room. There were only paper towels in the ladies bathroom the 1st or 2nd day an electric dryer would be nice maybe.. But mostly I'm just upset about the bed bugs. And the reply from reception that feels very gas-lighty makes things so much worse! (I been bit before but only by tiny ones and never to this degree)

Ubicación perfecta aunque ruidosa, espacios amplios. Habitación limpia.

Sólo una persona trabajando NO puede ocuparse de todo, así que los baños y espacios comunes están sucios y descuidados. Las literas deberían de estar mejor equipadas.

Die Lage in der Altstadt ist super. Auch ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut, wenn man sich für ein Dorm-Zimmer entscheidet. Das Hostel ist sauber (wobei dies auch immer etwas von den Mitgästen abhängen könnte) und biete auch zur Selbstversorgung einfache Möglichkeiten.

Dummerweise lag mein Dorm-Zimmer (Nr. 3) in Richtung einer Gasse, wo eine Klimaanlage konstant brummend lief. Bei der Bettenwahl sollte man eher nicht das Fenster wählen. Die Metall-Doppelstockbetten neigen auch dezent zum Quitschen.
