The location is nice and quiet. The night receptionist was very helpful, the other one was indifferent.

This is a four-star "Superior" hotel. Hotels of this category should NOT have bed mattresses wrapped in plastic to protect them. Such plastic wrapping renders the mattress unbreathable and reflects the body heat back, which makes you sweat during the night. I didn't sleep all night as a result.

Clean and the front yard is big. Easy parking. The room is bigger than I expected.

Excellent surroundings, well presented building, very comfortable rooms, great facilities, swimming pool.

Upon arrival you need to ensure you are in the correct part of the hotel as there are two buildings.

very nice hotel, excellent location. very kind and helpful staff at reception especially Lluis & Ariadne, and Sebastian, Pol and Sarah in the dining room, unfortunately most of the other n staff were quite sullen.

Car park and loading area outside hotel a bit limited. Only had a complementary bottle of water on the 1st day. No coffee in room. Tea only.

I have stayed at Abba Xalet Suites many times over the last 5 years. I always had a great experience. This changed this time (July 22). They gave us a room in their second building, which has been closed for quite some time. However, in the photos they only show the main building (where we stayed all the other times), which is considerably nicer and better preserved. I view this as deceptive advertizing (publicidad engañosa). When we complained and asked to be changed rooms, because the second building does not have the advertized facilities and is very noisy, they said that there is no free room in the nice building. Upon asking some friends to check, at least one room showed up as available and bookable! However, the hotel insisted that there was no available room. While I don´t appreciated being lied to, I decided to let this pass and have a look at the room. Right outside the room, it smelled horrible. As I said, the building has been closed for some time, but on top of that, we found a terrible leak, that left the wooden floor soaking (see attached pictures). I went to the reception to inform the receptionist that not only I wasn´t happy at this smelly building, but the floor outside my room was literally soaking wet. I told her in Spanish that there is a ´gotera´ (leak) and I showed her pictures. She dismissed me condescendingly and even had the audacity to correct me, saying that this is no ´gotera´, it is a ´filtracion´! Now if we open a dictionary, the two words show up as synonymous, but the receptionist cared more about giving me a vocabulary lesson than fixing the problem. When I asked to speak to a manager, there was nobody available. I insisted that I won´t stay in the problematic room and they accepted to give me another room that according to them was superior. To put it succinctly, it was horrible. I attach pictures of the broken furniture and the damaged sofa. The noise was unbearable. The smell sickening. The staff rude. Horrible experience.

Man at reception particularly helpful and kind. Great we could bring our dog. Beautiful room.
