Excellent

The room, facilities and services provided were very good. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent! All the staff were very sweet and hospitable. The location of the property is also very good and central. Easy to get around.

There was a mix up in the type of room booked as the Ritz system was not updated with the info from booking.com and this room issue was not resolved till check out which was unfortunate. However, the Manager Tarannum stepped in on the last day and made up for it later. That was a problem that was resolved later. Would not stop us from staying here again.

The staff were brilliant and they were very accommodating to our needs and seemed genuinely friendly. The location was great The rooms were very clean The facilities were great the room was lovely and the bars etc were nice

The only criticism is that the food was never warm. At breakfast, my dosas were cold twice, and I also got some chickpeas, which were also cold. These things should be easy to keep warm.I was disappointed with this as it's not that hard to make and serve warm food. I would say the taste of the dosa was good, though, so obviously, the chefs know how to cook tasty food, but the heating needs to be improved. At breakfast, I had some pastries as well, and they were less than average. I've travelled all over France and have tasted great pastries. These were not fresh, and some of them seemed fresh but just weren't tasty. I thought they would be exceptional at the Ritz, but no. The quality and taste needs improving for the pastries, and the rest of the food just needs to be warm. No one wants to eat cold food. Also at the bar they serve bar snacks and maybe I ate too many of them but I was a bit sick the next day. I think if they do serve these to people, they need to serve small amounts to not cross contaminate between guests. I was also given ice at the bottom of my wine, and I don't like the bottom of my glass to be wet. All these things could be improve, and then I would say everything else was great.

Shower water temperature was too hot - the mixture knob didn't do much for the temp. The wardrobe had an open electrical panel - nothing hazardous, but pretty weird given this is a premium hotel.
