Great location, staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was AMAZING and many choices to choose from. Large range of other vegan meals available also.

Wifi was a little slow

This is probably the best hotel I stayed in Bali, phenomenal vegan breakfast, nice and clean specious rooms! The hotel located right in the center of everything, gorgeous temple like architecture and best value for money! The stuff is super friendly and helpful will highly recommend this gem!

The only thing to take in consideration that there is no direct way to get dropped off and picked up by a car because the hotel is in an ally reached by scooter only, but the stuff is super helpful to accommodate that.

It was pure heaven, traditional Balinese from start to finish. The lady at check in was incredibly lovely and then all the staff to follow were equally good. The Kombucha they had in the mini bar was the best I’ve ever had. They refilled water bottles. The bed was so comfortable with fantastic pillows (I have a very bad neck, so these things really stand out). I saw a shooting star on my last night. The gardens and pool are immaculate also. It is just literally Balinese heaven.

Nothing not to like, it’s Bali personified and I felt like a princess.

This old style Balinese (but modernised) accomodation right in the heart of town was just what we were looking for. Friendly staff, brilliant breakfasts, lovely rooms. We'll be back for sure.

breakfasts were amazing. the location was in central Ubud but was very quiet and felt far from the traffic and noise of the town. the staff was very helpful. the rooms were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well.

We picked the Gayatri for its location, was suprised to find out it was vegan but the free breakfast choices for my husband and I was amazing. Price was good value and we choose a room with 2 double beds and balcony. So very happy with all the staff we meet, they have a tip jar that goes to everyone who works there :) Laundry service is cheap and fast. Close to shopping restraunts and spas +++

Gayatri was fantastic. The service I received here was exceptional. Having stayed at many hotels of big chains across the globe I would rate Service at Gayatari the best I have ever received. From Check-in with Wulan to daily interaction with Puspa, Ayu or Cyntia for our needs, the response we got was polite and immediate. Full marks to them.

Although their breakfast was Vegan which is supposedly good for us vegetarians but for my children it was a kind of no options as without milk or cornflakes it completely blocked their choices. Also for my room which was on the GF the AC was kind of ineffective but still manageable. Infact the way Gayatri is located and surrounded by full vegetation they should also make provisions of fans in the room. This will certainly reduce the usage of Aircons overall. Just a suggestion.

The staff were amazing - very approachable, helpful and sweet. Often went out of their way to help. The breakfast was clearly cooked to specific orders with fresh ingredients and was always prepared on time with the utmost care. The pool was clean and all amenities were provided.

There is no lift. It wasn't a problem for me but if anyone needs a more accessibility-friendly room, you should probably ask ahead for a room on the ground floor.
