Great location, balcony was nice to have, big room. AC worked well. Comfortable room. Friendly staff. We were here for our first night in San Juan.

Shower did not get hot. Lots of text and email messages to us about general rules such as keeping the noise down and cleaning up which seemed strange. We guess they must have problems with some of their guests. The hotel was quite when we were there (mid July). It was interesting that the guests next to us, but in a different hotel, were blaring music quite late.

Lovely building with old charm, yet clean, comfortable and with all the necessary amenities. Beautiful interior decor. Great location to walk around old San Juan.

Too strict checkout time of 11 am. Have to pay $45 for a late checkout at 1 pm. Check in time was pretty late at 4 pm, so they could've accommodated a little bit. Most hotels allow an hour late without any trouble.

I really liked the hotel itself- the beds were comfortable, I felt very safe as a female solo traveler, and it was a comfortable nice hotel. I needed to be in Old San Juan so the location was nice for me! Overall I had a really nice stay and it was exactly what I needed for this trip.

With the location, it was a bit noisy. They try their best to remedy it with quiet hours but the streets are loud with cars, people, and restaurants/bars so it can’t be completely helped. But I came prepared with earplugs so it wasn’t a huge deal- just something to be prepared for. :)

I could everything going on outside my room into the night it was people talking and then started up again around 5am with visitors and staff talking…loudly!
