Very friendly and helpfull staff

We were upgraded for free to an air conditioned room (to be honest, it hadn't occured to me that some rooms might NOT be air conditioned), the hotel is on the beach, staff friendly and I slept amazingly well.

Okay, so it was the busiest weekend of the year and the whole town was packed, but it was very, very expensive for an extremely basic (though perfectly nice) hotel room. When we left the hotel's card payment system was down and many people were waiting in a hot and chaotic atmosphere. I decided to load up the car while we waited (parking is a nightmare there) and the owner ran out of the hotel shouting at us that we were not allowed to remove our luggage before we'd paid. My daughter was in there waiting to pay and they were unable to take payments. This could have gone on for hours. I understand this was a legal matter of some kind, but the whole thing was aggressive and unecessary.

Perfect central location! The hotel is at 100m from the Papete beach. The staff are extremely nice, helpful and flexible. They changed the towels and bedding every day and the room was very clean.
