Good location and no noise at all

The owner (Female) sometimes was arguing with the staff while we where in the room and we heared from our window, also they argued durind the morning in the restaurant. That is no good

Only thing I could mention would be the water pressure in the shower was very low

Calm quiet neighborhood, big room with a balcony, nice bathroom, good breakfast with several options, bus stop with direct route to the historic city area nearby

Had several misunderstandings with the hotel staff, but otherwise my stay was ok. The wifi was a little bit weak for Zoom conferences

the staff have been the absolute best part. Due to delays with my flight I ended up spending just about 2 hours in the hotel but they were ready for me when I arrived, very welcoming and warming when checking out in the morning - even let me have a coffee without it being part of my room rate.

the mattress is a bit too hard (though I prefer them form than soft) but that’s just a personal thing

Big and comfortable room, nice balcony, plenty of hot water. Very fine breakfast - an exceptionally wide range of choices.

I had to eject a cockroach from my room at 2 a.m. and there was someone else's soggy cotton wool on the bathroom floor. I can cope with those but some people would have been really put off.

Super friendly staff that really go out of their way to help you out when you need their assistance or advice (their English isn't very good but they make do), okay rooms that have seen better days maintenance wise (nothing fancy or even upscale, but you get what you pay for), very comfy bed, high quality mattress, high quality and clean sheets and towels, powerful airc conditioning, small (and somewhat noisy) fridge in the room, location is a suburb but still easily accessible via public transportation, neighborhood is quiet.

Cockroaches in the bathroom! :( :( :( Multiple cockroaches, multiple times. Every time you turn on the light in the bathroom, you see a few small ones and sometimes a couple of big ones scatter away. Feels uneasy to use the bathroom after seeing that. Honestly, even sleeping after that was a challenge cause every little sound you hear makes you think that it's a cockroach that's going to walk on you when you sleep. Ended up sleeping with the lights on and a sleeping mask to avoid them :( After the second time I saw them, I shot a video of them and went down to reception. Told the the person manning reception at the time that they have a serious cockroach problem. He said they they're "not from here" and that they spray for them every day. How effective could the spraying be if they're there every time you turn on the light in the bathroom?! This made the whole stay almost unbearable.

We chose this hotel as we were attending a conference nearby. It is a budget option, but the staff were friendly, the room extremely clean (and with two balconies) and there's a very decent breakfast. I would recommend staying here if you're travelling on a budget for something in the area. It's about two minutes to the planetarium and very near the brilliant new park and opera house which is a lovely place to visit. Nice leafy streets with a couple of small restaurants/cafes nearby.

It's a little old-fashioned in decor, but great for the price and very comfy.

The breakfast was a surprise. I did not expect breakfast and there was a wide choice of many food items. The hotel was very clean, big room, very polite and smiling personnel, For the number of stars, it exceeded my expectation. I will definitely use it again!

Small issue that the balcony doors did not lock. The locks I think were broken. But this is a very minor issue which should be looked into and fixed.
