The breakfast, room, view, staff was lovely! Very close to the most beautiful beach.

One of the best holidays we have ever had. Perfect for a romantic getaway but also a family one too. The staff were the most friendliest and so helpful with great communication skills. They were happy to assist us with any request. The location is perfect, with a minibus regularly taxiing people to and from Paguera, a beach on your doorstep and beautiful rooftop pool overlooking Santa Ponsa. Cala den Monjo is really a beautiful spot only 8 minutes walk nearby. The beach was perfect with areas to sunbathe, swim and snorkel, explore and jump into the sea. I will be coming back here every year until the day I die! Heaven on earth.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Cala Fornells! All the staff are warm and welcoming, the decor is classic and well maintained (not run-down at all). The hotel is generally very clean, and we regularly saw the hotel's maintenance man (who was also very friendly) busily making his way around the building, fixing little things here and there. It was clear to see that the hotel is under good management. I would say it's definitely worth paying a little extra for a sea view as the hotel is in a fantastic position and the view from our room was gorgeous. The buffet breakfast is excellent, it exceeded my expectations. The selection of foods on offer is generous and varied. All in all I found the hotel to be charming, clean, friendly, in a beautiful setting and very good value for money. I would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you to all the staff for making our trip special.

Honestly we didn't have any problems or complaints during our stay. The hotel is a real gem. I would just let future visitors know that like most beaches in Europe, the beach in front of the hotel isn't private, it's open to the public, and since it is small it can get crowded. Beach beds cost €4.50 each per day.

The staff were exceptional. One of the waiters, Juan Miguel, set up the TV in the lounge so that we could watch the Champions League final. The maitre d gave us a complimentary glass of champagne on the terrace after our final buffet dinner.

It is a pity that a road runs by the restaurant, although there is no through traffic.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. There was a mix up in the booking and they resolved everything seamlessly - it was really appreciated.

Restaurant menu is quite limited. It did change the two nights we were there which is good. Car park a little hard to find when you first arrive.

Lovely dinner, we had the half-board (breakfast and dinner included). Each day dinner comes with different menus. Location is good, a few minutes walk can get you to different beaches, different spots of the local area. Not close to party places, so it is not a place for party holiday.

Hotel doesn’t provide accessible sun chairs and sun umbrella by the beach (need to pay for them each day) or use these facilities for free at the rooftop pool area, which is a lovely area, but not by the beach.

The location, the beach, the sunbeds that were reserved for the guests, the hotel terrace, the view from the room. The hotel has a long tradition in hospitality and is thus very charming.

Food quality was ok at the breakfast buffet (focus on quantity). Service was a bit slow at times, especially at the terrace tables. Also some miscommunication within staff regarding parking.

loved the view from our rooms also the pool which was located on the roof , the bar area was lovely and provided much needed shade-and the staff were all very friendly , it was also in a quiet location but within a lovely walk into town

Very generous portions in restaurant. Quite a few dishes were creamy however. Breakfast catered for all tastes. Staff busy especially on the terrace, but always friendly and helpful. The views are stunning and beach is lovely. Live piano music on the Friday evening was a lovely touch as was the display of the hotel in its early days.

Perhaps just a little bit more shade on the terrace would be appreciated at lunchtime.

Everything! Incredible spot, everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Hotel terrace has amazing views and the staff were wonderful. Can’t recommend highly enough! Will definitely be back.

Before coming to these points, I really want to reiterate that we had a good time staying at this hotel. The following is based on personal expectations and reflections that may not be a concern to everyone. - I was disappointed swimming pool is only opened from 11 am - we wished we could have rent a bike or a paddle directly at the hotel, and not always having to go to Peguera for such things Not directly hotel related but to be noted; - we were not expecting a road in between the hotel and the beach. Not a large road, but still. For some reasons, looking at the pictures on booking.com I was under the impression the beach and its access was part of the resort and not a free people access. Not a roadblock but slight disappointment when we arrived. - sea is beautiful but unfortunately you can see trashes floating around. Not super cool to swim with plastic bags. Again - nothing directly related to the hotel but to be mentioned as I believe it is a real shame.

Everything with this hotel was perfect. Perfect location, excellent facilities and extremely friendly staff.
