An excellent position, quiet but close to everything. A simple strutture made cool and beautful by a sea of flowering plants and attention to details. The owner and manager, Klery, is a very special lady who does everything in her power to make your stay both comfortable and memorable. Little extras such as raki, marmelade and so on awaiting you after a hard day on the beach! If we ever return to Kato Stalos it will be to Hotel Kleopatra.
Nothing!

The hotel is very beautiful, surrounded by plants and colorful flowers. We had a wonderful sea view from our balcony. The room was spacious, always clean and tidy! The owner Mrs Kleopatra is such a sweet lady, very polite, thoughtful and hospitable. She made our stay really wonderful and memorable. We were also treated with homemade liquor and dessert by Mrs Kleopatra!
We would definitely like to stay there again.

We were lucky to find such a nice gem of a hotel. Hotel Kleopatra has a very nice garden with beautiful and spacious rooms. The rooms are equipped with everything you need for a great holiday. Very big rooms, comfortable beds, complete kitchen and a very nice balcony. It`s located very close to the beach and most of the restaurants.
What makes this hotel unique is the host: Lady Kleri !
She is one of the nicest person we`ve met in our trips. She was kind and helpful all the time.
Staying in Hotel Kleopatra , you`re not just a guest, you`re Kleri`s guest and that feels like you are a family member visiting her.
We were lucky to have met such a nice person. She made us feel like home.
Kleri, we wish you all the best! Thank you for everything!

The hotel is a pure oasis. With its beautiful plants and architecture, it is the best place to relax. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished. The balconies are great with sea views. And the host Clary has a big heart and takes care of the hotel, plants and guests with passion.
Hotel Kleopatra is the best place to spend a relaxing holiday in Crete. Clary and Nikos are the best hosts. Warm, friendly, attentive. The service is great. There were always fresh towels, a clean room and a great, well-equipped kitchen. The sea view and the sunset are a dream. Clary is a great hostess.
Everything was fine.

The owner is the sweetest lady ever! Very friendly and accommodating and left some treats for us on couple days! The hotel is very quiet and cute, I loved all the flowers and green plants around it! It's also very clean there. We had a room with sea view and it was awesome to eat breakfast there every day. Comfy beds, spacious room and close to the quiet part of the beach and a very great restaurant restaurant with a view! Bus stop close to catch a bus to Chania or towards the other way. I would say it's perfect for couples and families to stay. Also the cute local Pano Stalos village is close by, I walked there it was great views!
Only couple things that I would mention (these didn't bother us but might bother someone, that's why I'll mention) The Aircon is a bit old so it takes a while to get the room cool. Also there was no frying pan, just pots, so you're a bit limited if want to cook your own meals sometimes. The shower doesn't sit on the wall so you need to hold it and the bathtub is tiny, so it can be challenging if you don't have great mobility. You also need to walk up a hill to get to the hotel, and there is no elevator there, so if you're not fit or are a bit older, maybe it isn't ideal.

the property was even more beautiful than on the pictures. the flowers were insanely colourful and smelled really nice, the lady visited each day to take care of them and chat a bit with the guests. the apartment had a room with kitchenette which was sufficently equipped, had enough room in the gardrobe for a 5 days trip, and we also had a terrace with nice view on the area, even a bit of the sea. the greatest thing besides the plants and our host was the common rooftop terrace with an amazing 360 view on the neighbourhood and the sea, which was a great spot for a sunset dinner we've put together in the apartment. however, we were very lucky as there were not many guests at the time, so we didn't have to share the spot. also, our favourite beach, Faros was in a 10 min walk, and there were 3-4 supermarkets and many restaurants on the way. this was an amazing place for a relaxing few days on the beach, we'd definitely come back for an even longer period so we can also arrange some activities which the area offers
we had to print our boarding passes, and as there was no 24/7 reception and we left early to the beach every morning we couldn't do it at the property, but at another hotel nearby

Hotel Kleopatra is special: a cosy, plant-filled, family-run, riad-like hotel/pension less than 7 minute's walk from Stalos beach. Its a 10 minute bus ride one direction to Chania town and 10 mins the other way to a huge LIDL. A smaller grocery, many cafes, restaurants (like the wonderful MARIA's Taverna) are only 5 mins walk from the hotel too. The hotel is kept fresh, newly painted, fresh decor, decorative pots by the score (plus flowers in the room!). The fitting and fixtures kept up to perfection. My apartment was a great size. Air con in bedroom for hot nights. Feels very secure. Some of the rooms have a lovely sea view as hotel is a little higher up from the village of Stalos and set on varying levels. Kleri, the owner, is a a kind, generous, enthusiastic and wonderful hostess who takes pride in all she does and offers--which in my case included home-grown olive oil, marmalade, jams, avocados from her garden and more. I hope to visit and stay with Kleri for many more years to come. And if you fancy a souvlaki, her husband has a cafe in Chania town where c. 2021, they still sell for €2...

Beatiful complex, with flowers and plants everywhere and the apartment had everything we needed. Mrs Kleopatra was so kind to us. The location in Stalos was very good, as it was not on the main street but still very close to everything (restaurants, beach and more).

Clean, spacious, cozy apartament with big balcony. The bed was wide, the kitchen had all we needed, the seaview was amazing. Lady Klery made our stay absolutely enjoyable. Little, but pleasant detail: the knives were sharp (knives in apartaments are often blunt, so here I was pleasantly surprised).

Amazing view from the room. Kleri, the host, is such a friendly, welcoming woman who went above and beyond. Very close to Chania town and amazing beaches. Many restaurants within 5min walking distance.

The owner - Kleri - is just a lovely and wonderful woman and she tries to help in the best possible way. The check-in was really easy process. The room was very clean and the view from the balcony is really nice. The apartment has a roof deck (kind of a insider tip) where you can enjoy a great sunset from!
The bathroom is quite small and doesn't have any shower curtain which results in a flooded bathroom. Moreover, the bathroom door was quite noisy so you would wake the others by opening/closing the door.
Since there are many apartments right at the beach Kleopatra is a bit overpriced in my eyes. However, it was a lovely stay.
