On paper, staying in an apartment in a retirement complex sounded weird. In practice, it was brilliant. Other residents were friendly and charming, to pool was a bonus and the location is great.

Very basic accommodation, not representative of the photos. Breakfast was disappointing. The water provided for tea was cold. No plates provided for breakfast. No milk for the tea. Teapot lid missing and teapot covered with clingfilm!

An unusual place to stay but it was a good stopping off place on a long journey. It had secure off street parking which was our reason for booking. We had not pre-booked a meal but the kitchen was able to provide pizzas. It was difficult communicating as our French is rusty and there were no English speakers which resulted in a poor breakfast (not their fault we didn't understand the system).

Didnt quite know what to expect, but really easy hotel esque apartments within quick distance of the motorway. Very clean and staff incredibly helpful. Free onsite parking and good quality children's cot provided. We elected not to try dinner, as quite a limited menu, but a nearby Lidl/Aldi combo meant we could have food in our apartment with cooking in the kitchenette. Simple, but quick breakfast, which the reception team kindly comped as we had a slight delay with our rooms on arrival. The other residents are indeed retired and were very polite and enjoyed seeing our little ones.

Understandably the bar wasn't open at a retirement home in the summer during COVID times.

The receptionist didn't speak english and was very difficult to communicate, no wifi info in the room and had to go to the reception to ask for password but it was the wrong one, I gave up.
