It was next to the spa we were visiting. Location was good. Rooms were good value. We checked in early without extra charge
The website didn’t make it clear that the restaurant and bar were off site. The cafe in the health club next door provided food but only until 7pm on a Saturday and the bar closed at 8.30. Although limited alcohol was available from the hotel reception cooler. We had planned on using the facilities after our spa treatments. Then eating later and having a couple of gins/cocktails

Ease of coming/going - payment in advance, with no need for extras - room cleaners didn't attend each day, which we very much preferred
Twin beds requested but double supplied : not an issue, though, as it was so wide.
Soap and shampoos in the shower empty. Again not a problem, as we had our own

The breakfast was excellent it wasn't at the hotel but a short walk away at the health club .the prices were reasonable.the staff where excellent! We are looking forward to staying again .!
It could have been less noisy .but that's not the hotels fault .they had a Irish wedding party !! .apart from that not much we didn't like.!

Nice room and bed, relatively luxury feel for price
Heated towel rail gets too hots and burns. Did mention to staff on first visit, this is second visit and we managed to burn ourselves again!

sheet on bed did not for, pillows where almost non existant, door missing on shower cubicle, stained carpet, at the health club - pool was so cold is was a joke.
surprised that a company with the credibility of Ballantynes it was so meh! which I had used the local Premier Inn instead. At least there you know what you will get.

The staff’s lovely
Beds wasn’t comfortably they were halfed into two single beds and stuck together when I layed on it, it slips and separated. Also the room key/card wasn’t working every time i exit the room it wouldn’t oped, and the staff said it’s stuck most of the time, so why don’t you fix it? I didn’t accept that for the money value

Excellent for two nights stay for graduation purposes. Great, fully equipped rooms with lot of space (even iron desk). 24h open bar at the reception was very helpful. Convenient distance to the University campus by walk (35min) or by car/taxi (7min).
Breakfast at the other hotel/building. Walking in the morning during the rainy day was not very pleasant.

There was an issue with cleanliness of the bathroom. The manager was understanding and moved us to an executive room.

Easy access to breakfast in quiet cafe in neighbouring health club.
The need to fix the toilet roll holder in the bathroom should have been dealt with before my arrival. No bath (some of us still like them!) and the half open side to the shower meant the floor inevitably got wet when using the shower.

Staff was very nice. Hotel environment is calm and big shopping center located next to it.

Breakfast was very good with decent choice but first morning coffee was dire! Coffee machine not working so only instant available.
Sofa too low for my partner in a room presumably designed for people with physical disabilities?

Large, clean room, easy check in / out, lots of parking
There was a constant dull banging noise from a pump or pipework (ground floor room 15 seems to have a service room next to it) but otherwise all good.

We liked the whole experience of the hotel it was nice and clean great atmosphere and facilities as well food was amazing and bed was really comfortable

It was a nice comfortable bed, clean and spacious
There wasn’t a fridge in the room, the bathroom door was too close to the toilet and the lighting in the room wasn’t very bright to do makeup so had to use bathroom which wasn’t as comfortable but overall really nice room and spacious
