Das Zimmer war groß und geräumig. Zum Frühstück gab es frisches Brot und die Lage war ruhig und stadtnah.
Durch das Fenster schaute man direkt auf eine Felswand und die Heizungs-/Klimaanlage. Die Dusche im Bad war sehr klein, mit einem engen Einstieg.

It is our second time in Arancio and we again enjoyed the views, the pool and location. We need to warn that a walk to Ascona involved a number of steps. The staff was helpful and accommodating. Relaxing by the pool or drinks on the terrace in the evening was a highlight. It was cute to see chef picking up basil from their own small kitchen garden. We need to say there is currently a building going on on the other side of the road with some noise involved. Thus should end in the foreseeable future so we would return

The pool, the view event though there was a crane for construction down below the road in front, nice terrasses.
The traffic although if you sleep the windows closed you won't hear it. The rooms are basic old looking but the beds were comfy.

Ascona is half an hour walking distance but there are lots of stairs. Buses are not regular

We couldn't take dinner to our room when our baby got cranky
Rooms are really small (we booked a room which were supposed to be a junior room. Yes, it had a discount, but was more a humble "budget standard")

The view from our balcony and the restaurant is just amazing. The pool was also very nice especially during the hot summer.

The food was really good and overall it was not a bad hotel (I’ve seen a lot worse).
However it’s far from good for the money you pay for it. The rooms are not really good but very old. And on the website it said that pets are allowed but ones you’re there the dog can only be in the room. Which I find ridiculous. Dogs are not even allowed in the outside dining area. Which is totally fine by me but the hotel should put it on their website. If they would have listed this, I would’ve never stayed there. And the most funny thing, although you cannot take your dog anywhere in the hotel except the room, they make you pay way too much money for it when checking out.

We had an absolutely perfect stay at the Arancio! Everything was excellent, the rooms, facilities, location, and most of all, the Staff! Thank you, we would love to go back soon & will recommend your wonderful establishment to all our friends & family!
