The room was spacious and the service was good. I really enjoyed the hotels cafe and the morning breakfast. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Thank you.

great location, friendly staff. delicious dinner
At dinner, pasta from the children's menu turned out to be spicy. besides, I paid for two rooms at the price that was shown as two adults sharing a room with breakfast. but they forced me to pay the cost of breakfast in addition. When booking, only two guests are indicated. But the price, I emphasize once again, is for accommodation of two adults in a room with breakfast. and, as one of the adults, there was a 7-year-old child. I do not understand why this issue could not be resolved immediately. so I had to pay twice for breakfast :) it's not about money. I just don't understand why you can't check the price on the spot.

that we had to ask for towels- housekeeping must have forgotten small towels . but everything else was fantastic

I loved that the breakfast tables were set and with individual coffee decanters. The breakfast was very good and the bacon was actually cooked crispy, American style. I liked sitting on the outside veranda. I didn't use the Spa but saw others coming from it and wished I had more time.
I loved everything about the Schloss Hotel. I hiked the Devil's Wall and walked around the nice town. It is not far from the other cities and activities, like the Titan suspension bridge and Mega zipline. I enjoyed my time there very much...very relaxing and beautiful.

Friendly staff
The bath was slippery (anti slip mats not permissible due to hygiene reasons apparently) and there were no accessible showers - I was a bit worried for my elderly parents who were also visiting)

Breakfast was good and morning staff were far nicer and quicker and attentive than the evening staff in restaurant. Grounds of the hotel were really nice to walk around but that is about the highlight of the accommodation. Fridge was stocked each day with 3 different drinks.
Room was really hot no air conditioning and couldnt open window and street was very loud and no bug protection for the windows even if it was quite. Evening staff in restaurant was not attentive and gave us water with no glasses and didnt once check if everything was ok and it was not busy. For sure not a 4 star hotel, exterior looks great and rooms are ok but overall experience is that it isnt a 4 star hotel. Even the bar is just in the lobby of the hotel. For sure not worth the price paid.
