Great please to chill in Canguu. It is a high standard villa. Great and peaceful retreat in crowded Canggu. All the best restaurants, beach clubs and coffees are 10-15 min distance by scooter. I will be back for sure. The staff was very friendly and supporting.

The Villa was lovely. Rooms clean and spacious. Pool and living was great. Wina the manager was an absolute gem, accommodating and willing to make our stay more comfortable.

The Villa is situated on a main road and the traffic noise is incessant. I had to buy earplugs to sleep. There was also construction, which meant during the day it was even noisier. The location is quite far from anything, and there are no walking paths on a very busy and dangerous road.

absolutely everything was amazing, from facilitirs bathroom with bathtube in nature, very cozy and comfortable bedroom, excelent pool and including the staff (Wina and everybody there) who always smiled and took care with every small detail so that our experience would be as it was in the end, fabulous.

i cannot find something that i disliked, we would for sure come back there

The villa was spacious, very clean and very comfortable beds. The staff were super helpful, kind and accommodating. It's a little far out from the main areas of canggu but it's easy enough to use a scooter to get around.

It's no fault of the villa but the construction noise next to the villa was unbearable at times. Often going into 10pm at night. This makes it very difficult to enjoy the outdoor lounge/pool area during the day. I booked the villa because of the outdoor area and I wasn't able to utilise it as much as I would have liked.

Staff, location, private villa with no eyepickers

The property's description on website quite accurate - although perhaps some small updates post COVID closure (ie specify what "shuttle" is applicable). The villa was very comfortable for two adults, we thoroughly enjoyed the open plan living/kitchen area (with option of air conditioned bedroom and closed door if/as required) and the pool was OK for lap swimming. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful at all times. Canggu is a maze of little laneways, side streets not all of which connect through to main centre, but we were very happy with our location and proximity to beach (10mins walk max - and ability to walk all way to Seminyak/Kuta/Legian along beachfront) as well as several cafes/restaurants/French bakery/supermarket within 200m (Nourish for great coffee and ricefield view, Folio for a treat, Cafe 63 for great daily specials). Even a pavement walk into Seminyak was about an hour at slow wandering pace - and return taxi around $Aus8-10. We relished the peace and quiet once we shut gate into our villa and, with just 7 villas on site, we were unaware of other guests. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom (partially open) was roomy and had rain shower plus bath. The breakfast was adequate for our needs. We soaked up the proverbial Bali zen and our thanks to all at Villa Komea.

As with so many properties around the world, the bedside reading lamps could have brighter bulbs for reading - and same for the floor lamp in living area. We are regular Bali visitors so knew traffic would be heavy and that pavements in Canggu are practically non-existent outside of main centre so walking is a challenge - if not prepared for this, wherever you stay would have same issue(s).

Gorgeous villa, the pool area is stunning and very private. Very clean and quiet. The staff are amazing. Will definitely be staying here again and recommend it. There is a supermarket just down the road and some cafes and restaurants to save you going all the way into the main part of Canggu everyday.

great accommodation. exceptionally clean. staff are very professional and attentive. able to attend to our requests immediately. love the private pool! it’s the highlight of the villa as well. there’s no a single bad thing about this place. 5 stars indeed.

Loved the villa itself - secluded, spacious, lovely pool and indoor/outdoor living area. What really made the stay was the incredible hospitality of the staff who went above and beyond to help.

Only minor but it was a little way away from the heart of Canggu

The staff were very friendly and willing to help give advise on places to visit/eat. The villa was very comfortable, private and the staff made a lot of effort to prevent mosquitos in the outdoor areas, which was great. When we wer stuck indoors due to heavy rain there was Netflix on the TV and the staff provided playing cards for us to use.

There was some construction next door to the villa but the noise was minimal.

Unfortunately since pandemic there kitchen has been shut. Would have been a great addition to a lazy morning having breakfast in the villa would have been great.

The very friendly staff couldn’t be more incredible and were always happy to help us whether that was giving us lifts or delivering our left property after we left it before moving on to Ubud. they went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable not just in Komea Villa but in Bali altogether. after our luggage was delayed at Singapore airport one staff member, Wina, was amazing and helped to contact the airlines and keep us updated on the situation. the friendly welcome every time we came back to villa made us feel very at home and relaxed. the villa itself was the most beautiful place I’ve seen with calming atmosphere and beautiful decor. Would definitely stay again if we came back to Bali.

there was road works next to the villa which created some noise, but not the fault of the villa and was easy to ignore!

The villa was perfect for a couple. Multiple areas to relax, creating an organic relaxing location.

COVID has prevented the hire of a chef and a driver, so breakfast options (although great) were limited, and hotel transfer to the airport wasn't available. However, Grab and Gojeck are so easy and cheap.
