Abian Ayu hit all the high marks. Location, view, facilities, service, how much room there was between the rooms, the outdoor space was beautifully cared for, all the staff were Uber friendly and helpful. We will be back.

Such a picturesque view from the property and our room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Lots of lovely Warung’s within walking distance and they offered great massage at the villa. We had an early check out so the staff packed us a breakfast box which was very kind and delicious.

Only negative and a very small one, is that our room didn’t have aircon.

Not as tranquill as it could be. Due to set up of all rooms above the pool, and architeture of open rooms, hearing all sounds from pool and neigbors. And room types attracting larger family/groups.

We were in a room that was on top of the reception. Very clean, private and had a great view. Went for a self guided walk in the rice fields, were hoping to see some birds but saw very few. The highlight of the place is their infinity pool. Right next to the bar/restaurant. We found the food to be consistently excellent. Very quiet and tranquil. King bed was very comfortable.

There are many stairs to get to the room, the pool and the restaurant. Definitely not for the walking impaired!

Wunderschöne Unterkunft mitten zwischen Reisfeldern. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich&hilfsbereit. Frühstück sehr lecker. Würden aufjeden Fall wieder kommen!

Leider hatte das Zimmer keine Klimanlage. Daher war die Nacht alleine mit dem Ventilator fast unerträglich… Draußen war es definitiv kälter als im Zimmer, allerdings konnte man die Türen wegen der Frösche nicht geöffnet lassen…

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Abian Ayu Villa ! Le personnel est accueillant, serviable, de bon conseil. La chambre était magnifique, spacieuse, bien équipée (réfrigérateur, bouilloire, Moustiquaire au-dessus des lits, à la fois pratiques et esthétiques, mais aussi, café, thé, sucre, eau minérale….), avec une terrasse et une très belle vue. La salle de bain, magnifique également. La piscine est très agréable. Le petit déjeuner est fantastique : beaucoup de choix (des petits déjeuners européens ou indonésiens), belle présentation, très bon et copieux ! La situation de l’hôtel : il est facile de se déplacer à pied à partir de l’hôtel que ce soit pour aller marcher (pont jeune, rizières…), aller visiter (fabrication de tissus, d’arak, de livres faits à la main…), faire des courses (petit supermarché avec prix affichés, un peu plus loin que le pont jaune), trouver de l’artisanat local, ou encore se faire masser (juste en face de l’hotel!). Nous avons prrécié le cadre naturel, verdoyant, le calme, allié au confort.

J’ai beau chercher, je ne trouve aucune critique à formuler. Je ne peux que faire des éloges !

Our room was very beautiful and clean. The bathroom was also big and clean. The breakfast was very generous and it included a warm plate, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, and even bread and croissants - which is atypical for Bali, but a welcome surprise. The staff is very friendly.

The view, which was probably one of the best in Sidemen, is ruined by a new villa with private pool being built right opposite the hotel. This villa is also part of the Abian Ayu resort and it puzzles me why they would ruin their best asset - the view. The hotel is very popular and so it was fully booked. But since the garden and pool are relatively small, it felt a bit overcrowded and there wasn’t much privacy. We booked for two nights in two different room types since they did not have availability for the same type of room, and we also asked for a cot to be added in the room (which is a paid service). The hotel confirmed this request, but when we arrived, they told us that the room we booked for our second night was smaller and they did not allow cots in there, so they invited us to book a different hotel and told us they would not charge the second night. We were baffled! They confirmed our request and then denied it upon our arrival! Initially we were a bit upset, as we had been travelling quite a lot and we were really looking forward to 2 consecutive nights in the same hotel. The staff was apologetic and admitted to their mistake. In the end, they agreed to let us stay for the second night and told us they would provide the cot as well. An hour later they got a cancellation and told us we could get a bigger room for the second night, so all was solved. But the whole experience did not feel nice.

Jammer dat er midden in het hoog seizoen gewerkt word aan nieuwe verblijven. Je hoort veel heluid en er lopen telkens mensen die werken door het verblijf / zwembad ruimte heen.

Wonderful location. Mountains view, rice terraces, peaceful and quiet place. opening your eyes in the morning you can see all the shades of green from the window of your villa. Very friendly and welcoming staff, well-cleaned villa and clean linen. Cozy area where you can have breakfast almost in privacy. definitely recommend this place.

Service, everybody was kind and had the best attitude. The location is amazing; it has different dining options. The view from the Double Room with Mountain View is breathtaking.

It could improve on their maintenance and cleanliness; for example: the bathtub in one of Double Room with Mountain View leaked and it did not hold the water for a bath; the bathroom of the Family Bungalow with Bathtub is not done thoroughly (many spider webs in every corner).

The family room was perfect for us. The garden was so beautiful. Loved the pool and being amidst the rice fields.

the hotel is in an absolutely stunning location and is a beautiful place to stay itself. Our rooms were exceptional, as well as the facilities and staff members on the property. we were able to book activities and services with ease through the hotel, including a fast boat to Gili T. we had such a perfect stay and Abian Ayu Villa made it. Definitely the place to stay in Sidemen

The location is great with an outstanding view (even from the bed) when booking with mountain view! The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. It's so relaxing and the massage was awesome 😌

everything! the room was comfortable, clean, and had an exceptional view. I slept so well and I love that it had a safe and a fridge. the staff were phenomenal- shout out to Dea for all your help.

The views from my room (and bed) of the rice paddies and mountains were stunning! But know that you’re not close to shopping areas, shiny bling, loud tourists, etc. Instead, you can walk 5 minutes to an hour in total peace and safety to get to other resorts/home stays, a few restaurants, the center of Sidemen and experience the beautiful views, see the Balinese hard at work in the fields, meet some people along the way and get some exercise. If that’s not your thing.. then having a scooter would solve that. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Solo female/age 68/ USA 😜

You can hear the people talking in the room next to yours. Not a big issue..but if they were loud or there were children it might be?
