Breakfast was excellent and greta value. Dinner was disappointing as to choice and value

What a beautiful setting! We had a large room (more like a private cottage) with a balcony overlooking a gorgeous view of vineyards, mountains & scenic villages. The property is located high above the Douro Valley, about 20 minutes from Pinhao. The distant location may not be ideal for everyone, but given that the place is self-contained, with breakfast and dinner available at the on-site restaurant, the view & peaceful surroundings more than make up for it.

Room was spacious, comfy and clean. Loved the nice view from our room, we had luckily good weather in November during our stay here despite Nov being known for rainy weather. We also enjoyed our breakfast here, it was a good spread!

About 30 stone steps from main house down to deluxe bungalows and pool. Well lit but no railings at all.

The staff were so welcoming and accommodating to our requests! Would've liked to have stayed here longer. Sunset over the Douro Valley is really something to behold. This establishment puts out a very generous buffet breakfast and the place was simply delightful to stay at.

Provesende is a very beautiful and pitoreque village. Quinta manhas Douro has a nice view on the Douro Valley. The staff was friendly and helpfull with all our requests. The menu is very diverse and the food delicious and fresh. We liked and ejoyed our stay in all ways. Everything was perfect! Thank you for your hospitality.

The cover blanket had a foul smell. The a/c was not working properly the room was too warm.

Room air conditioning units struggling but take into account that outdoors temperature during our stay was averaging 33 to 40 deg.C.

it offered diner but the food was unacceptable. Not tasty nor freshly prepared. The AC was not functioning well and it felt always hot in the room despite the fact that we left it on all the time!

It really is a 5-star facility the attention to detail and the staff were just wonderful and the views from the terrace and swimming pool were just food for the soul. I highly recommend a stay here.

Stunning views and general feeling of the location. Facilities were good. Attentiveness of staff. Value for money. Cleanliness. Food and beverage availability at property was welcome. Winery next door was convenient for a tasting and good quality.

A little remote to food and beverage options. You need to drive. Nearby village has few options.

The location was great. beautiful setting. Claudia at the front desk was the best. She was really helpful with some of the touring options and explanations. Whatever you do, DO NOT loose her.

They offered the dinner option which was a good idea. However the food was lukewarm at best and blend. Unless they change their chef, they are best not to offer dinner. Also they had issues with their air conditioning system.

This country house is super cute. Grounds and view are breathtaking Staff were wonderful. Breakfast was good . Pool was wonderful.

It's a nice little place with a great view, very clean and comfortable beds.

The staff weren't super welcoming to be honest. Like they were fine, did their job but the place lacked warmth from the staff. I arrived late at night and was really tired. Online it said they offered dinner at the hotel so I was looking forward to that but when I arrived the guy at the desk said they weren't offering dinner that evening (no problem) but he didn't even make any recommendations on restaurants in the area etc. I could have asked (which I didn't) but the guy didn't really seem to care just not very hospitable is the point i'm making. He could have been tired (who knows) but this was my experience. I wouldn't not stay here I'm just saying my experience wasn't anything to write home about.
