We stayed in apartment 2. It was spacious and cleaned every 3 days.The kitchen is spacious but the views were absolutely amazing!!
Sara is an incredible host and a amazing person, kind, attentive and always around to help and make suggestions! She even brought us some home made cake and a frozen dessert!
The garden is beautiful and well kept! The outdoor shower is a huge bonus, and we loved using this on hot days when we got back from the beach!
We also found a small cove, just 20’ walk from the apartment, despite it being August we were nearly always the only ones there! What a luxury!
Nothing! it met all my expectations!
But do remember to bring mossie spray!!

Kanoni beach apartments are very close to Lakka town, surrounded with old olive trees and pine trees.There is a shortcut through the stairs leading to the harbour, it is a few minutes walk, descending is easy but climbing can be demanding espacially if with shopping bags or luggage. Taxi was prebooked for us by our host Sara on arrival and departure, which helped a lot with logistics. We were welcomed warmly at late check in. Sara was very attentive and looked after us through duration of our stay. Sheet beds were changed often and cleaning was top notch. Studio is compact, but it was enough for our needs and budget. It comes with air conditioner, tv, and wifi. Bathroom and kitchen has hot water at all time. It has a balcony doors which opens to the garden and have a mosquito curtain which can be pulled out if you prefer to keep it open during a night. A highlight is a little tarrace with a sea view; and it is part of the garden. Garden itself is a gem, a watch out for turtles. It was quiet, peaceful and a lovely stay. Buy mosquito spray.
Wifi connection was weak but enough to check the world outside, an outdated TV with almost non-existent aerial signal, not much space in the bathroom and sink level. The mosquito curtain was not easy to set. It was difficult to sleep with air conditioner switched off as there was no air to breathe (no wind, high humidity, hot July), when it was turned on it was uneasy to fall asleep due to its noise.

Sharon who runs the Kanoni appts is a great host and has put a lot of thought into making your stay comfortable. The apartment was clean and had a well equipped kitchen. The beds were so comfortable and we slept very well. The view from the terrace is so lovely. The swimming pool was an added bonus, nice and clean with beds, chairs and shade. Sharon helped advise us for the ferries and arranged a taxi. It was a short walk to the beautiful town of Lakka and beach but it may be difficult for those with mobility problems as it was steep at times.
I am being greedy now but I would have loved a sunbed on the terrace. There was one day & night with a fleet of 'party' boats in the bay, it was surprising how much the sound travelled, once you're in bed with the fan on you don't hear it at all.

Very nice and cozy apartment. The view from the terrace is mesmerizing. The house is situated next to the downtown (5-7min walk to the beach and restaurants). The equipment in the apartment is all good.
We stayed for 12 days, during this time Sara was very helpful, she did the cleaning and changed the towels/bed every 2 days, helped us call the taxi an so on. Definitely will come back) Thanks Sara!

Kanoni beach apartments are in one of the best locations on the island above Lakka village. 7 minutes stroll down the hill to some beautiful beaches, and the most amazing harbour front, with excellent tavernas and shops. Takes a little longer to get up the hill but not difficult at all, you just need a torch at night for the last few steps.
The apartments are kept incredibly clean by the extremely hard working, helpful, kind lady ( Sharon)
Being a solo female traveller I felt so looked after, Sharon even fed me home made cheese pies one day, such a lovely touch.
The apartments are equipped with everything you could need, and also some supplies of coffee, tea water etc on arrival so no need to rush out to the shops straight away. The shop in the village can deliver any heavy shopping also.
The bed was super comfy, with soft pillows, and fresh linen and towels when needed.
The views are breathtaking, and the mature garden ( complete with a tortoise) is such a tranquil place to sit, relax, read, contemplate. I also loved a dip in the beautiful swimming pool. I felt very at home here, and very Zen.
If you need a transfer from the port, this can be arranged when you book, make sure you do this in advance. I loved the 8 days I had here, most definitely a home from home, everything was perfect! Thank you Sharon & Dimitri.

Everything was great, 3 minute walk in to the town and only a few more minutes to two amazing beaches. The apartment was spotless and had a great view overlooking the bay. The host Sara went the extra mile to make us feel welcome (booking us taxis, regular fresh towels and sheets, recommendations on where to go) and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay.

But the service was top notch. Extremely helpful and friendly. Very clean. Wonderful views.
Only thing is the shower is a bit small and awkward.

Everything was perfect! Sara is a wonderful person that really cares about her guests. We felt welcomed as soon as we arrived and had a really nice week. The cats in the garden made our stay even better and we completely fell in love with baby kitten Rogue :) Thank you Sara, we miss Paxos so much!
