I liked everything in this place. Very nice and cozy, in the middle of everything! location is perfect, the room is clean and hot water always available. Hospitality is incredible! Francisco goes far and beyond to help you with everything and it really feels like home here. I highly recommend this place. If you need to go on early trip they will help you with breakfast also.

The room is a little cool

The location could hardly be better. The courtyard is stunningly beautiful, private and immaculate. The staff are super friendly.

It’s more beautiful than the pictures! Very well kept, simply decorated old adobe home converted to a small hotel. Very comfortable in the room and in the courtyard. The hosts are welcoming and helpful. The location is great-off the main drag on a side street but great location. Breakfast is basic and fine.

There’s nothing I didn’t like!

I really, really enjoyed my stay here. It’s such a welcoming and charming guesthouse, with a lovely courtyard and, most importantly, the incredible Sonia (I hope I am spelling her name correctly), who is SO sweet, helpful, thoughtful, and a non-stop cleaner! If you want to stay at a place with a Western hotel chain-like feel this probably isn’t the place for you, but if you want a homey, comfortable, “I feel like I’m staying in another country” like experience, I highly recommend El Pueblo de Casa Hostal!

Host Sonia was very attentive to our needs, took great care of us and helped us make the most of our stay. Thank you Sonia!! The recessed courtyard of the hostal was a wonderful place to have breakfast and to rest between outings. It is tastefully decorated with local pottery, fabrics and plants- a relaxing harbour. Lodging right in the center of town also meant that we were close to all travel agencies, restaurants, and town activities - no need to taxi home at night. We would highly recommend this place.

Being so close to the center of town means that nightlife sounds may disturb light sleepers. Earplugs helped.

Great location. around the corner to the Main Street. Safe and comfort homie setting. Super nice and attentive staff.

Some neighboring restaurants and bars will have loud music till 12a. but the owner is nice enough to talk to them to lower the volume.

I had a wonderful stay at the Casa del pueblo Three days from 31/7 to 2/8, solo traveler , special room with attached bathroom Camilla , the owner , give personal attention to every detail that I needed including my trips in Atacama and checked on me thru my stay. Sonia who attended at the hostel was excellent as was Francisco. The room was cosy warm clean and very private. Being in the middle of the town made it very easy. Five star rating from me!
