The bus stop was just across the road with regular service to Corfu city centre every 20 minutes. The property was quirky and the garden was pretty. The owner was helpful in giving suggestions for places to eat out and visit.

The oven did not work. The roof leaked during heavy rain downpour. The property needed updating and general repairs i.e. door handles missing, mezzanine skylight rotten and not closing properly. The wooden gazebo was rotten and collapsed.

It is very unique place to stay. Very special interiour. We loved it!

Where shall I start?! Ahhh, the hosts, Natali and Spiros are simply the BEST! Spiros gave us a lift from the airport and from that moment on, it felt like, we were welcomed back by an good old friend. They both gave us tips and information about the island, plus a map, which were more than enough. All the information that we got, were exactly tailored for us and our priorities... Ahhh, the cottage is like a dream! It is located at Kanoni. If you don't have a rental, you can reach downtown easily with the bus. The bus stop is just across the street. If you do have a rental, and yes, we definitely recommend it!, you do have a designated place to park it, just in front of the cottage. It is a beautiful and serene place where you can rest your head on a very comfy bed and have a good night#s sleep or enjoy the view as well as the fresh vegetables from its garden. It feels just like home! And you never want to leave. :) You have internet, you have a big bathtub to enjoy, you have enough space and air conditioning both in the living room, as well as the bedroom. (We slept in the master bedroom.) The kitchen is full with equipment. And Natali and Spiros are kind enough to welcome us with breakfast essentials, such as bread and jam and butter. And you do have a few markets around the corner, if you need to buy anything... What can I say, dear reader? Do not think further and just do the damn reservation already! :) My husband and I enjoyed staying at the cottage and having the companionship of Natali and Spiros so much, we definitely will miss them! :( THANK YOU VERY MUCH for everything!!! Ahhhmmm, NOTHING! There is nothing not to like! (Well, apart from mosquitos. Those beasts! But have no fear, Natali and Spiros will provide you also an electric repellent.)
