it’s a nice old style and clean home stay. Outside it’s a row of food restaurant and cafe. Very strategic location and walkable to famous spot.

It’s kinda noisy outside because some cafe and lounge. Visitors come and chill and chat. But after in the midnight it’s fine.

the steep stairs is a bit scary, im afraid to go down or up at night since it is very steep

- A beautifully decorated 2 storeyed house. suitable for a small family or a group of friends. - The location was superb and it's accessible to all the touristy places by walking. - The host was very responsive and very accommodating.

- The street can be noisy and the pub in front of the house played loud music. If you're sensitive to the noise, you'd need something to knock you off. It wasn't an issue for me as I'm a deep sleeper.

The retro and antique vibe of the whole property. Cleanliness of the toilet and beds is a plus point. They have steep stairs but that’s one of the highlights of the property, as long as you’re careful. Its strategic location is also perfect!

It’s not too much of a bother but do take note there is a bar along the street and it can be loud in the midnight.

Location and the whole place itself. We absolutely loved our stay.

The music from bar and restaurant nearby. We stayed for two nights and luckily the bar is closed every Tuesday so we had a nice peaceful sleep on our last day in Malacca. Wifi was not working so well as expected. Would be nice to have small hand towel in the bathroom and kitchen towel in the kitchen.

Love the mood of the shophouse and its environment. There was a bird couple building a nest on 3rd floor!

Nothing in particular I disliked. However I was surprised by the steepness of staircase. So I would like to share that I would have liked to visit with friends and not with family (including my elderly parents). They chose to sleep on the sofa at the ground floor living room. So in hindsight, nothing to do with Leju21, I made the wrong choice of choosing this accommodation. Another side point is the musty smell of the accommodation - need to air the rooms and it will be fine.

The house was super clean. the location was just by Jonker Walk. it was a little noisier at night during the weekend but wearing ear plugs helped!

Location is good

Everything is great. Just there was very Noisy in the mid night. Though restaurant will be close at 12am. But not.... I think until 2-3am only the customer gone. Then only we can sleep.

The location is perfect, balcony with the river view, the house decorations, the fridge in fhe common area

Location was superb, clear information provided by the owner. The stairs inside the house were a bit steep, so if you have small kids, old people, you might need to consider first. Other than that, it was perfect for me!

Although looked aged, Those house have been preserved very well. Maintaining the antiques furnish and design make you feel like living before 1950's maybe. I enjoyed the stay and of course will be back in the future. The owner is very helpfull and informative. Keep you updated from the day you made a booking until checked out. Well done!!

Everything. Quaint converted three story shop house. It was perfect and the host lovely. It does have some little drinking bars in close proximity which can be a little noisy but they didn't bother us and we enjoyed spending some time there

Our host, Zanne checks on our arrival time and allowed to pick the keys like 3 hours earlier than our check in time. At the time we collect the keys, she explained the brief history of Leju and recommend places to eat and the local hideout for us to try. The best thing was Zanne allowed us to check out late because there weren’t any check in on the next day. This is the best because of the flexibility for us to explore more on the streets nearby. The location is superb and everything in Leju is perfect and comfortable. And every corners Leju are instagramable. Love, love, love
